Breweries with huge tap lists (as in easily 30+ different taps).

This is especially annoying if many of them are just different riffs on the same style (of course this happens with IPAs at most places).

And even more so if you don't allow flights or half pours.

IMO, if a brewery considers serving from opening an old can to a patron, they should be transparent “you can have the beer on tap for $7 a pint or we are trying to clear out some cans that are getting a little dated and I’ll only charge you $5 (or $4) if you want the can”. That would be fair and reasonable and transparent to customers. Then let them decide.

Breweries with Facebook only Internet presence, no website.

Not a brewery but I’m in a bowling league and the bowling alley actually has a decent craft beer list (many 15 taps). For 4 weeks straight ther taplist says “Nugget Nectar -on deck”. Week 4 they moved in New Trail Broken Heel as a new beer on tap and Nugget Nectar is still showing as on deck. Makes no sense, they need to take it down (and if only 1 keg has been kicked over a month that’s alarming as well). Most of the Gen Z and Millenials (90% of the league) seem to be drinking Coors Light and Miller Lite. My Gen X team all prefers craft beers.

Just a few things that I find a little annoying include when it’s too loud or if it’s difficult to order a beer due to staff being indifferent.

I don’t care too much about can dates or the other things mentioned in posts above.

I would be annoyed by dirty tap lines if this was an issue I experienced in breweries.

This especially at breweries that talk about how inclusive they are. You can keep your "in this house blah blah" sign, there's a substantial portion of the population that has noise sensory issues. I shouldn't have to go to the corner of the patio to find a place to drink my beer in peace.

I have to say my small group and I (3 guys total) always crack up at the guys throwing money at the waitresses/bartenders.

We frequent the same night, same block of time and there's always the same guy as well doing his same routine.

There's a Bout Time (trashy sports bar) literally across the street and we always wish he'd go there

I can appreciate that, although I wonder if it isn't easier to simply update a chalkboard.

My kids used to go with me to Red Oak Brewery at Guilford College and it had really. great sandwiches. We always went on snow days and they were very well behaved (early to mid 90s). We would have a leisurely lunch, I would have a couple nice amber lagers, and it was fun. They are now 38 and 41 and speak of those days fondly and often. It was a very normal family affair.

And I have to contradict myself here and agree that can be fun. Last fall a local place had the Phillies-Astros on one TV and the Eagles and whoever on the other. Good rowdy crowd for that.

When Boom Supersonic is rolling out its new jets, voila!, the replacement for the Concorde and same day international beer service. You just gotta know somebody!

Maybe - some of the TV based menu systems are synched with Untappd or other online services as well as the POS systems. Gives views of the menu from multiple locations in the taproom.

Having to schedule a time to go to the brewery for a pour or to pick up cans.
Tree House Sandwich has limited parking and was supposed to have a satellite lot and a shuttle to the brewery. They don't and doesn't seem like they will any time soon. The spaces they have are limited to pick up.There is no such thing as "hey lets go grab a couple of beers" You have to go online and schedule a time window.

similar to having to wait in line or go on nexttable for reservations for a restaurant cant really blame the brewery thats a people problem

This is less of a peeve, but a brewery I like to make day trips out to (Talisman) had always made their beers in 25oz bombers and been reasonably priced if not cheap $4-13 each

However recently it looks like they've eliminated those completely in favor of 12&16oz cans, but still charging the same.

I get business needs evolve and I hope the money is going toward expansion, more money for employees or R&D related stuff

Yes and no, it isn't their fault they are so popular, I get that.
If I was to open a business, I think planning how best to service the clientele would be on the top of the list. In this case it seemed as if they just wanted a spot on the Cape and thought we'll figure it out as we go.
I don't know if the town has restrictions on them, but the neighboring community isn't happy with them. That may play into the limitations.

I'm a grumpy old guy, so the places that have their taplists on big screens can just get the hell off my lawn! Put a game on (without the sound) and print up a few menus every day.
