I guess I'm the first or one of the first LC members in Finland

In all seriousness, congrats to those that got an invite! Maybe next year I'll get lucky.

 

Maybe he’ll use the extra funds to buy that press and maximize BACV yield.

Extremely excited to get invited! Since it's four hours away, I'm a little concerned with driving back and forth all the time to STL. Is the pickup window 3 weeks typically for LC too? I don't really have a proxy in STL so if any of you locals can help me out, shoot me a DM. I'm pretty flexible.

 

So I may just be an idiot here or maybe I'm not; outside of signing up for the newsletter as directed by the website, is there anything else required to get on the waiting list? Just making sure I didn't overlook something. Only signed up for the newsletter about two years ago and I'm sure the waiting list is plenty long so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm still hanging out around the bottom of that list.

 

There used to be a form to fill on the website, but looking at it now it just seems you need to subscribe to the newsletter to be added to the list

 

I feel like there was something besides the newsletter when I initially signed up as well but I've since drank that memory away. Thanks for confirming

 

I'm actually guessing that you 1) need to buy their beers/packages (friend got in 2 years ago after scoring on many of the releases) or 2) be a local to STL and visit their taproom often. I actually highly doubt that it's a wide-open lottery or first-come first-serve waiting list.

 

I signed up right around the time BBT20 was released. I remember this because I signed up for it after getting lucky on the BBT package that year. Been very active since in regards to purchasing their online packages with exception to perhaps a couple that did not interest me at all. Definitely with you in the thinking that its not an all out open lottery though

 

A buddy and I both got the invite today but we’ve both been buying pretty much every big release package and some various cans / bottles here and there since they went live with proxy sales in 2020. I can’t say for sure but I’m guessing that loyalty buying product over these last couple of years counts in a good way. Excited to be in the club! Cheers to those who got in and hopefully next year for the others

 

I can also confirm, today is a great beer day!!

 

I know they asked LC members in the year end survey if they had any recommendations of people who would be good members in the future. I recommended someone who has proxied for me before and he ended up getting in. Can't say it's for sure because I listed him but I can't imagine it hurt
