"Stupidly Long Name", a Smoothie Sour from Latvian brewery Arpus (5%).

I really have to say that Arpus does these Smoothie Sours quite well. While I'm not sure how well these parfticular flavors work together, it's still quite an interesting flavor profile, with a good balance of tart and sweet notes.

Moontown Heady Manifestations DIPA (Citra, Kohau, Wai-iti, Ekuanot). Lime sorbet, passionfruit, pink grapefruit, ripe cara cara orange, dried mango, orange peel, mint, and spruce. Soft and pillowy feel. Didn't expect this brewery to put out an excellent NEDIPA. I'll definitely take it!

Nasty weather forced cancelation of some of the Bockfest activities scheduled for today. Weather will be much improved tomorrow... which is when the mrs. and I were going to attend anyway.

Currently Bocking out at home with a local favorite. Highgrain Brewing Co. Ibex Weizenbock...

Ever since I heard about this beer from the brewery that makes the first hazy I fell in love with about 6 years ago (the iconic M-43), I’ve been on the lookout for it.

    Today that search was fulfilled.

Lots of mango, peach, pineapple, and candied orange flavors combine with some oat sweetness to yield a NETIPA that is imminently poundable, something that is difficult to do in my experience. Absolutely love it.

Double Daisy Cutter. Another first beer experience for me. Not my favorite so far, but then again it isn't terrible. I think the aroma is putting me off a bit. Cheers anyway!

Good evening, all! I'm drinking Fayette Bière de Garde, from PIVO Brewery. On tap at Whiskey Road, Cedar Falls, IA. Waiting on an order of Southwestern egg rolls and getting ready to check out the whisk(e)y menu for medicinal purposes. (I have a slight toothache, and I won't be able to get it taken care of until next week. So whiskey it is. I'm sure my grandfather would have been proud.)
