Is that the place out in west Covina? One of the people I regularly visit down there is out that way and I think I saw that that was the closest brewery to their place but I've never made it in

Mikkeller SD Bourbon Barrel Aged Træblod (2022) - 15% ABV Imperial Stout with maple syrup and coffee.



Strong, dak bitter BBA coffee with a splash of bourbon and a glug of maple syrup. Really well-made beer!

it’s “big beer” (or whatever) but it’s still a solid BA IS. think i’d take Deth Tar for the price and product though over this.

 

Wild Turkey. i think it’s the only one that hit in Peoria but maybe i’m wrong there.

 

A gift from my sister, she's been sitting on it for a couple years, finally shipped it as a Xmas gift....good, but a bit to much "espresso" for my taste buds.....still, quite good.

 

I had the Adroit Theory Eat the Rich, (thought I'd commented on but poop happens).
That being said, I've had Ten-Fidy for years, a long time favorite so it wasn't new to me but Eat the Rich is, and it's awesome. I really love stouts, I just dont like beers with "added junk" and most of the beers in the Extreme Beer Box were "junked". To make a long story short the 1st 6-7 out of the box were not very good. Eat the Rich is the real deal to me, loved it.
