    So i have a few clarifying questions. I think Id like to take this adventure with y'all and yinz etc etc.
    @Roguer i dont normally participate in NBW posting but would for this BIF. And Ive been in other BIFs with folks on ths thread who will vouch for me @FBarber @Roy_Hobbs

    I basically get a trade target. Post deceiving hints about where I am sending beer to.
    Destroy someone's porch, which I have done in other BIFs.
    And include local schwag, and a food stuff, plus a mystery beer.
    Share beers from the BIF on NBS or NBW threads.
    Continue banter on hints and hauls thread.

    Potentially send secret extra boxes of beer to ensure porch doesnt get rebuilt.

    Am I missing anything essential?

    You've got it right. Hints are as deceiving as you choose; the plan is entirely up to you. Some use their hint chains to slowly eliminate others; some follow a theme; some slowly hone in on their target; some have every single hint very specific to only their target, but in a way that isn't easily decipherable or obvious (at least at first). And some combine any number of these tactics, and more. :grinning:

    Porch destroying is a byproduct, but not a requirement. Lots of ninjas and porch bombs will occur, but also completely not required. Various LIFs will surely spawn within the BIF, but participation is entirely voluntary.

    But yeah, you've got the gist of it. :slight_smile:

    I would just reiterate to any potential new participants that the purpose of this BIF has always been to spur participation in New Beer Sunday and New Beer Weekend - making sure you can post reviews of the beers you receive and participate in NBS/NBW both as part of this BIF and in general moving forward is important.

    Unfortunately I'm going to have to bow out of this round despite my eagerness to go again. I hit a deer on my way to work this morning and totaled my car. The back and forth with insurance/possible repairs/possible new car purchase is going to keep me too busy over the coming weeks. I still have return fire boxes and a LIF to get out for the current round. My apologies everyone and I hope the needed participants present themselves and everyone enjoys the fun. Cheers.

    Sometimes life hits below the belt; we're all, I'd think, past victims of unexpected and seriously inconvenient and or expensive wallops. Take care of the important stuff first, this is the fun stuff.

    Unfortunately Miss Lulu the German Shepherd blew out her knee this weekend and we're looking at a surgery (TPLO) that'll run between $7k-$12k to fix it... with the added bonus that dogs frequently blow out their other knee once this happens. So our BIF budget will be going to making a bionic doggo. :slight_frown:

    Sorry to hear that @Dimidiata we dealt with that for our dog about a year and half ago now, you’re not alone. Best of luck with the procedure and recovery.
