What beer are you drinking now? #3791

I ran into this canned 2/14/23, unexpected purchase. Could not pass on it. It is not letting me down.

 

I hear ya. I cringe at paying $20+ for a four pack. Rarely ever do it.

There are lot of good Richmond breweries which sell awesome beer at around $14-$15 a four pack. And I willing will pay $18 for some good local DIPA four packs. After that, I get hesitant.

 

Between brews so i will spin a tune ,

 

Shrimp and Blind Pig. I feel so sorry for you!

Just jealous. The shrimp looks great. And it goes without saying that Blind Pig is definitely top tier.

 

Super fresh like 10 day‘s out on the Blind Pig.

A bit danker than Hop Juju, but still really good. I prefer the Juju, but fresh Fat Heads IPAs are always worth a purchase. Cheers all!

 

Mammatus from Pueblo Vida. Unfiltered pale ale with Strata and Nelson hops. Hop forward for sure. The can looks like it was painted by Van Gogh. Cheers all!

Hi there. Thanks @bbtkd for todays thread. I had a fab time last nite drumming and got to pull my own pints. Just had some hot picante sauce and figured this brew would be El Perfecto. Warpigs USA Raze The Dawn Xocolatl Stout. Nice! Oh and I copped a new glass last night whilst shmoozing w the bartender. Cheers!

Canned 02/28/23.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a bright, light gold body with lacing.

Nose of bit of hop aromas and nice malt sweetness.

Taste of malt sweetness from beginning through the middle,
giving way to a nice crisp, slightly hoppy finish.

Good feel with medium carbonation and medium body.

Overall, a nice lager from the hoppy bois of the waterfront in Burlington, VT.
