I have to chuckle to myself because, living in the metro ATL area I never have to stay at the airport for very long. I hope someone who does can chime in. If you do have an opportunity to leave the airport for a period of time, Arches Brewing is a great, close by spot. You'll probably find their beers at the airport as well. If you see Creature Comforts Tropicalia IPA on tap you definitely want to try that one or Three Taverns Night on Ponce IPA. You'll probably find Terrapin and SweetWater there as well. Hope your trip goes well and you find some enjoyable beers!

Halfway Crooks Beer is holding their annual Kölsch Fest Saturday, April 1st 12pm to 7pm and Sunday, April 2nd 12pm to 7pm. This even features HC's Farina and Kölsch-style service!

Overall quite good. Good stouts. I'm not a fan of sours but people really like their sours. I like Night On Ponce IPA and Prince of Pilsen Pilsner. They did a great collab with Pilsner Urquell's experimental brewery Pivovar Proud. The head brewer is a reputable experienced brewer.

The 2023 Suwanee American Craft Beer Fest is this weekend, Saturday, March 18th from 1pm to 5pm at the Suwanee Town Center Park. One of the top craft beer festivals in the United States, it will feature food, music and, of course, craft beer. There are over 101 breweries, meaderies, cideries and distilleries participating. Just saw this on social media yesterday. Orpheus Brewing is closing its taproom and brewery as of April 23rd. For fans of their beer, they will continue production via contract brewer Bevana in NC and maintain their current distribution footprint. Founder and Brewmaster Jason Pellett also announced that he will be moving to Amsterdam to start a new brewery called The Hollows. He also says he intends to find newer, smaller location for the brewery/taproom sometime in the future.

Orpheus Brewing has been a fixture in the craft beer scene in Atlanta since 2014. Good luck to Jason on his new venture!

Here is a first for Georgia craft beer - one independent buying another. NoFo Brew Co in Cumming, GA is buying Tantrum Brewing in Cleveland, GA. Cleveland, GA is a town located in a popular corridor to the N. GA mountains. The brewery is located on the way to popular tourist destination of Helen, GA.

Crystal Beer Parlor is a must. It's a restaurant/bar with good food and a good variety of beers on tap. I've not visited any breweries there but two that would be on my list would be Southbound Brewing & Service Brewing.
