I am surprised as well. The Sockeye catch this year was probably the best in 20 years. And still it sells for $14 a pound. Dang!

No lie here either, it’s been a looooooong time since I’ve had one, but damned if even the green bottle version isn’t a solid drink. Digging it. Not a cold season daily drinker for me, but maybe come the warmer months it’ll be a new-found old friend.

 

Both works. LOL! I like fish. All kinds of fish. Wife, not so much. She can tolerate haddock or cod fish fry, but anything else, no bueno to her. More for me!

I haven't had much experience with this style. I take it from the BA style description that there can be quite a bit of variation within it. If you like funky, tart but not overly sour, moderately bitter, and fruity with notes of green apple and overripe cherry, you'd probably like PIVO's rendition of the Flemish sour.

 

That used to be my go to before I even had an inkling as to what "craft" was. I loved that dog Bo and she loved beer.
