Dark Lord Day (2023)

Just looked at 7:03pm central and it appears Group A is sold out. Deluxe was sold out when I checked around 1:55pm, probably much sooner than that though. All other groups still available.

 

Group A was available at 10:30, now it is sold out. On to Group B. Premium is sold out.

 

No word on whether they will keep the drive through for bottle pick up and drafts this year…

 

They will, but it will be monster truck rally format. In this instance, instead of driving over trashed jalopies, you drive over all of the empty bottles.

 

I still love the trail of bottles from the DLD bottle shares that stretched all along the curb back in the day. Looking at all the regional whales people brought before they were everywhere.

 

Wow, still group B available. Is this thing going to be half full?

It’s a good thing it’s been raining so much, we know how flammable the Brewpub is…

 

3 Floyd’s posted a “low ticket warning” on their Instagram stories, even though it’s easy to see that’s not the case just by looking at the ticket site. So now the question is, are they going to just pull the the remaining tickets, and act like they sold out? I think everyone that goes will still figure it out when they get there and it’s the least crowded DLD in the last 15 years.

 

I don't think the difference between 10, 12 or 15 thousand people will really be that noticeable dog.

 

Yes. They have to have a cut off to prepare. They will probably sell a handful of tickets from the taproom at some point like they used to closer to the date. We’ll see leftover bottles as vintage sales in the future like has happened previously.

 

There’s still group B tickets, so if it’s anything like previous years where they sell about 10,000 tickets, we’re talking less than 4,000 attendees.

 

I can get behind this.

2019 was 13-15k. That was the last in-person attended festival. 4k fewer won't make a difference to my shit faced brain. And that's conjecture either way.

 

Im going home afterwards but I need to drink a few beers and jam to some metal with you 100%.
