Brewery Notes: Brewed with natural strawberry, banana, chocolate and vanilla. Double dipped by first being aged in oak bourbon barrels followed by French brandy barrels; 24 months total.

Pours an obsidian liquid , no foam cap , dissolves to a taupe ring

Aroma is bourbon , boozy

Taste is sweet bananas, bourbon

Thick , syrupy , full mouthfeel , low sudsing

Good beer , representative of the style, not a huge fan of banana beers, truth in advertising, it is what it is, thanks for sharing Craig

Really tasty & tart fruited witbier made with "second use" cherries and blackberries previously used in a wild ale. I think a little of that wild ale's funk traveled with the fruit, in a good way.

 

I could bomb the hell out of a recipient if I wasn't so nervous about sending bombers now. 5 was apparently too many for @snaotheus rather the ups anyway.
