Tree House Brewing (2023)

I drink quite a bit of coffee in the AM but cut it off at 9a because it drastically impacts my sleep. This could have been a one-time situation, but I had one can of Nomadism one evening and I could NOT sleep. When I was drinking it, it does legit taste like cold brew coffee to me, so I attributed it to the beer, but who knows how much of it was the actual caffeine content, if it was just psychological, or just a random poor night of sleep?

 

I’ve found that any beer with coffee after maybe 4-5 pm will trash my sleep. I enjoy them but have to save for the weekend.

 

Seems like one of their April Fools posts got sent early. Actually, it looks like someone posted a bunch of them on twitter, too. Oops?

The Treehouse Classics department has brewed everything from a German-Style Hefeweizen to a Smoked Polish-Style Lager. I would like to see them try their hands at some traditional English-style beers. Yes, I know they make a nice ESB, but how about a Dark and/or a Pale Mild? An Ordinary Bitter? An Old Ale? Maybe these styles have limited appeal, but that hasn't stopped them from brewing an abundance of niche beers before.

 

I wrote a quick email yesterday to TH asking about the "Winter 2023" and "Spring 2023" dates on the bottom of some cans. The reply was a non-answer, touting their QC and saying everything is fresh, etc. I thanked them, but re-stated the question and explained why I thought it was an un-TH move to not have canning dates on some cans, and if the question was better suited to ask someone else and not the general TH email addy, who should I ask? I'll post any good answer I get, if its an actual answer.

 

Got a very similar answer when I asked about coffee dates. (Which honestly bugged me way more than the season stamp.)

 

As a parent, if you’re putting the effort into getting balloons and inviting kids and parents out to have a Child’s birthday party at treehouse. You’re fucking up.

Right there with you. And I’m sure some are amazing parents outside of this. But it just seems to be very selfish to me and not for the kids. Whatever, I’m not perfect.

Now my bigger dilemma. Stopped by Armsby and they had both Double Nelson and Society 3 draft.

I brought Harmony home. Wanted to try a straight Nelson beer from treehouse. But did not expect to have HF double Nelson draft. Although maybe secretly I figured they might have it on this weekend. Then I get home and crack a can of Harmony

I don’t even know if Chuck R Cheese had pitchers of beer back in the day but my poor parents put up with our crap for hours on end for a few years’ worth of mediocre birthdays.

Jbrews between the bagpipes and the birthday shit, next time you go to Sandiwch you’re gonna see a great white chomping on some surfer or a whale breaching on a tugboat full of preschoolers. It’s all the Galaxy hops we are all peeing out into the watershed that’s causing all this mayhem.

I’ve been trying to pin point the flavor to something I know. Realized it was those hard candies that had bananas in them as well. Multicolored different fruits. Anyone remember what those were called?
