If my target doesn't call me out soon, I'm thinking about making a small LIF out of one of his unsolved clues. Just sayin'.

LOL! I was at a Chili and beer competition back when that first came out. We had only so many tickets so I was trying to find all the stouts - went by New Holland's booth and asked what they had: Mad Hatter and Dragon's Milk White. I told them thanks, but I was looking for a stout. The guy told me it *was* a stout. I replied: I can't say for sure what it *is* but I know for certainty it isn't a stout.

I do not like Bud Light. At all. If my only choices are Bud Light and water, I will choose water, every single time.

    Hint #13
It's not snowing where my target is. Wish I could say the same.

I think you eliminated me with your USPS Priority hint, if not sooner, but I would LOVE if you were my sender - the last box you sent my way was staggeringly excellent.

Hint #7: my target hasn’t ventured a guess yet, but another member of our esteemed group has guessed who my target is. Which is nice.

As promised, the Goldfinger Rotbier sent my way by my friend @FBarber.

I liked it. And check out that glass!

Pours an absurdly beautiful copper color that is crystal clear and props up a creamy light tan head that laces the glass nicely and provides a cap on the body of the beer the entire journey through this beer.

The nose is led by a rich bready malt note as expected by the color, but there’s also plenty of grassy hop aromas, a nice dollop of caramel - and some stone fruit, specifically cherries. I did NOT see that coming.

The bready flavor struts its stuff first and is absolutely delicious, with the grassy flavor following, but the showstopper is the caramel/cherry combo pack, which elevates this to world class level, IMHO.

The mouthfeel is crisp and dry, making it very easy to crush the crowler. Goldfinger is a hidden gem absolutely SLAYING the lager game.

Ok ok. I'm going to make some guesses soon. Hit me with some hints that's not like decoding a forgotten language please.

Here's another hint for my target. I'm shipping east of the Mississippi..

#2, I was gonna be done with the Goldfinger crowler - and then I looked at the other side of the glass. DRINK MORE LAGER.

So it is written, so it shall be done.

This is courtesy of my friend @woemad. If he is your sender, be prepared to be crushed with boxes of fantastic beers from the PNW. He is a rockstar.

Pours a clear mahogany brown with a sudsy light tan head that provides ample lacing. Beautiful Munich Dunkel. The nose has lots of wheat bread and a bit of chocolate. Very nice.

The wheat bread is forward and delicious on the taste, but it’s the subtle chocolate flavor that really makes this beer for me - so much flavor in a relatively low ABV (5%), with a crisp mouthfeel to make this a beer you can pound one pint at a time.

I’m a Whistle Punk fan, and this beer is another example why that is the case.

How about some hints? (Hint #9). Yesterday we did rivers, today state fossils. If this is your state fossil, you're not my target:

A few years back I was lucky enough to visit the site of a motherlode of this guy.

I wanted to visit this site/museum exhibit, but I needed a letter of introduction from the head of my graduate department. Since I was majoring in biology and not paleontology, xin loi!

I always found this stuff (generic term) interesting but never saw much until I took a trip to Sorocco, NM, to the trinity site. And in SD as well.

I used to work with a guy who had been on several digs for this bugger.

Ok, back at the mothership. Kids are taken care of, and now back to Shenagins. More hints cause the box is leaving Friday!!. This box is going east, a long way east of the Mississippi River. Your weather is warmer than mine.
