    It's been a while since I had a rejected beer or Place pic (I'm so good at this now :wink::wink:) but I think a pic gets rejected right away if it doesn't meet the dimensions or byte requirements. It's the rejection process that doesn't give any specific feedback but it's only a matter of rechecking the sizes or bytes of that pic and then fixing and resubmitting.

    I feel like a hero every time I upload a photo, maybe that tells something :grin:

    Have simply decided there's a photo of every beer I drink...question is if I even would be a Pooh-Bah without them. Maybe, but with a shiver...

    If a picture doesn't meet the requirements, the site will tell you and reject it right away when submitting.

    I've been using my PC to upload pics to the forums so far but I'd like to be able to to it via my mobile phone.

    What's the best option for image hosting via a mobile to then upload to the forums? I can't seem to find an option to upload pics via the imgur mobile site.

    I think PostImage.org is the one that gets the most favorable comments. It is detailed in post #1 above. (It's important that you follow the red text in those instructions.) Another service, Adobe, is detailed in post #14. I don't use my phone, so I can't comment on either. There may be others mentioned in the thread.

    The photo hosting site I have been using to upload images to What Beer Are You Drinking, has changed the way they do things (it's a small obscure site). Now all the images that can be uploaded from them has their web site logo on it. Is that allowed to be posted here or do I need to use a different hosting site?

    Yeah, I'd look for another image hosting site. Dropping watermarks on images is spammy/tacky.

    I tried using that image resizer but I hate the ads they have. Found this site called instasize to help me resize my photo and it worked well

    Wow!

    I wanted to post a picture onto a forum of the great stout I’m drinking but this is way too painful. I’m not going to bother.

    I’m still disappointed that the most important part of BA appears to be posting…
    I’ve tried and added and reviewed lots of beers and have added lots of breweries - but that appears less important than posting ….

    Imgur seems to be a bit buggy and your picture was lost.

    I have had consistent success with …
    Postimage:
    1. Go to: https://postimages.org
    2. Click on "Choose images".
    3. Select the image that you want to upload.
    4. Click on "Share" above the picture.
    5. Go to "Hotlink for forums".
    6. Simply copy it and paste that link right into the forum text box.

    So, this is my first attempt at uploading a picture via my iPhone.

    Did it work?

    edit… yup, like a charm. However I can’t vouch for anything other than iPhone and iPad. I seem to remember using the desktop at some time though.

    With Imgur, just grab the link for BBCode (forums) and paste that into the BA forum

    But this is a totally different procedure than is used to upload beer and place pictures
