The wife and her buddy made seafood stuffed shells and they were great! Sweetwater Hazy IPA before I go and get some sun.......

 

Still never had Fidens, do they distribute or do you have to buy at the brewery?

Good afternoon, all, and Happy Fridge Turd Friday! I opened this KBS Chocolate Cherry Stout about a month ago, drank half of it, recapped it with a bottle capper, and stuck it back in the fridge where it has remained unmolested. It seems to have held up pretty well. A little loss of carbonation, but the aromas and flavors of coffee, chocolate, and cherry are still poppin'.

A Fridge Turd Friday by any other name...

 

Man it's warming up here. About to throw some carnita meat in a cooker of sorts haven't made my mind up yet. Will be having tacos and getting ready to throw down on some 500 pesos Mexican lager later on.

Well, figured I’d try my first from what I think is a hyped brewery. They sure are expensive enough to be. My spot is starting with Pokemonk as the first of a few kegs that are apparently going on soon by Monkish:


Initial thoughts were that it lived down to expectations as another cloudy IPA, but i gave it a chance to warm a little a saw it had a bit more than the lonely very late bitterness I got on my first cold sips. It’s actually pretty good. Too expensive, but tasty.

 

Blind Faith is in my top two or three favorite groups. Winwood, Clapton, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech. The recording is an absolute classic.....Thanks for showing these tunes to a newer crowd (some) of music lovers,,,

The beer is pretty terrible, but i always wanted it for the novelty (edgy name/ logo)
Also...Viva Mexico Cabrones.

 

Was wondering what your stout snob self thought of that 1. I don't have enough experience with those. Heard the spontaneous fermented version is better but who knows. I try just about anything from JK at this point.
