Frontier Brewing and Taproom Muddy Mountain Mild. 3.8% abv and super flavourful.

BTW, the SN Summerfest on draught sold out the first day it was on.

Looks like the new I74 bridge connecting Iowa and Illinois and your bridge have a similar design. Probably a popular one. That's the old bridge above it, which they're in process of dismantling.

Paul Simon has a new album out :flushed::sunglasses:

Spinning Seven Psalms, this is excellent. A 33 minute, mostly continuous suite. I think Bowie at the end of his career, and Simon have held up the best of all the old greats. Still Great After All These Years.

    Odell IPA in the glass.

Very cool. The old Lowery Ave bridge wasn't moved. Entire thing was detonated and removed. It was a battleship, all steel with a grate deck. It was always known as the "singing bridge" due to the tire noise produced by the grid deck. Scary driving over it...and of course there was the 35W bridge collapse. Construction company skimped on the gusset plates....Holy shit.

    Howdy BAs!

Race Day mañana... 2nd of 7 races for me on this year's NE Mountain Running Circuit.

Morning checklist drafted, summit gear bag packed to send up to finish area, and a ride back to my car confirmed.

    Two simple goals:
    1) Finish before cutoff time
    2) Don't get injured!

Enjoying a new Maibock from Mast Landing, which I've added to the DB.

    Rite of Spring

Nights Like These stout from Birds Fly South. I texted the brewery and they said it can also be imbibed in the day time.

Oh, man. This puts the "dry" in dry stout. I'm going to need a glass of water.

    Howdy all.

25k morning trainin run complete - now recovery mode with a NA UA Ital Pils, a trusty friend - then on to some minor to not so minor plumbing tasks over today through Monday. Oh joy.

Let's see if I flood the house.

Cheers! Real stuff hittin' later today.

Yard work done. Enjoying a new beer to me. Roundtrip Brewing Věřit 11° Czech Amber Lager. They killed it with this beer. Roundtrip is one of those must visit breweries in Georgia for BA's enjoy well crafted lager styles. I dropped in a couple weekends ago to pick up some of the Dunkel I like and sampled this one along with a Kolsch collab. Decided I had to take some home with me and very glad I did! The Kolsch was quite good too, btw. Cheers all! Enjoy your Saturday.

Home now, beat the rain to complete some underground utilities work, I may be getting to old to run 4” rigid metal conduit in duct banks,
but that’s another discussion, I will certainly sleep well!
Enjoying this hoppy delight from our good friends at Brick and Feather

[IMG]Currently drinking this with my steak . It’s pretty good me and dad love it. Mom even tried a drink but she hates beer lol. Very hot Saturday out. I think I’ll have a glass of water afterwards haha. My dad says the best beer to drink with steak is PBR but I haven’t tried that and we wanted to try this lol.

    1) Fair State Side Pull (4.1%): A Czech Pale Lager from Minnesota with flavors of light lemon citrus, pale bread malts with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel.
    versus
    2) Pilsner Urquell (4.4%): A Czech Pilsner from Bohemia that has buttery and salty flavors of diacetyl atop a bread malt. A floral, bitter finish. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Winner:
    2) Pilsner Urquell:
One of the best Czech Pale lagers (#2 on BeerAdvocate) against the OG Czech Pilsner. Obviously they drink fairly different. Fair State's Czech lager has grown on me. It drinks subtle. Light lemon and bready flavors. Cool name and there's a whole BA thread on the topic: https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/the-side-pull-tap-handle.665726/ The soft and pillowing mouthfeel is where it shines. I prefer the bitterness of the pilsner better. Both are fantastically bready and Urquell surely deserves a better ranking than #208.
