    DInner is a ground beef and cabbage casserole. Kind of like deconstructed stuffed cabbage without all the hassle of making stuffed cabbage. Of course, I tend to make things spicy so this will be no different :wink::sunglasses: I added a healthy dose of Thai chilies and some sofrito and smoked paprika to the mix as well.

    Should be interesting - I'm hoping it's good, but it smells pretty damn good cooking.

    @Ocalafox that's a bummer about your concert tonight. From what I heard there were lots of ticket issues. Your backup plan looks solid tho!

    Finally got a little precipitation, but not nearly as much as needed or forecast. Still heading toward drought. Again.

    Only 3 days till my next mountain race (Wachusset)... one-and-done with a classic light beer.

    Hey BA's

    Happy Wednesday - late to the beer party today - spent most of it in the ER - my 90 year old Mom had some chest pains overnight, and some other unpleasant symptoms....after many hours and tests and scans - determined she has a 5mm kidney stone....EKG and other tests were fine
    Whew! Beer time!

    Glad she's okay - kidney stonehas to be one of the worst pain ever. First time I had one it doubled me over in pain I was like WTF!! I wouldn't wish that upon anyone, well, maybe Trump.

    ...doing my best Mrs. BeerGoot psychic powers tricks (but I think I fall short of her 'abilities')...we've had a very welcome wet May...still looks like the summer and beyond may be hot and dry, but I'll take what we're getting now...best of luck with your IL weather...
