I love my traditional German styles, especially the regional ones. This altbier from Ecliptic really hit all high marks for me. Nicely done. Prost!

Not a good day.
$400 for water for the pool and pump shit the bed- 800. Really sucks and it's not a quick fix. Reworking the plumbing and wiring plus I have to work through possibly Sunday.

And now we have the Sapporo / IBM AI collab: Sapporo Breweries and IBM Japan have just unveiled “Otoko Ume Sour Salty Plum,” a 5% ABV sparkling cocktail created by a propriety AI system name N-Wing Star. Sapporo says that they fed the program approximately 1,200 formulations and data on over 700 raw materials to help create “ingredient combinations that humans would not have thought of.”


I am enjoying a local Prost Pilsner after a really good bacon wrapped Middle Eastern spiced chicken thigh.

Tasting much better than I recall. Last bottle of 2019 Fremont Dark Star Chocolate, Vanilla, Maple syrup. All flavors coming through well, none of the bitterness I recall.

 

Even though I am 30 minutes or so from Estes, last time there was with the kids (now fully grown). Aside from scenery and the Stanley it had nothing to offer. Full of crappy knick knack shops and food that could not even outclass Mickey Ds for lunch. It may be different now, but I doubt it.

Now, Steamboat is a bit of a better story.
