Hitting a Bale Breaker pilsner at Market St Pizza's new outpost in Spokane Valley.

Kinda weird for a place located on Market Street to open a second location elsewhere and NOT use a different name, but, apparently, per the bartender, they've been going gangbusters since they opened in the winter.
Going to head up to Precious Things next.

Went on a bike ride, read some books in the sun, messed with garden. Good day! Does matching glassware to the brewery make it taste better? There must be a study on this....

Okay pics from our fieldtrip out the recently opened Orthodox Brewing in Goshen, AR. They are doing Belgian Style beers & some IPAs. The Belgian styles beers were the best. Gorgeous afternoon. awesome setting near the White River, the last .5 miles in is a Gravel Road ( but a nice one ).

Cross post on NBW, but the quick and the dead: very nice! Been meaning to try this for ages, finally pulled the trigger. First thing I've really enjoyed in a while.
Vis- a-vis some other forums, but Boulevard is one of those conglomerate buy- outs that doesn't feel like a sell- out (cf: The Sixth Glass, top- notch Quad).

Today's my 26th birthday, earlier i had lunch at my favorite local irish style pub, now I'm cracking open Sierra Nevadas Rum Barrel aged Quad.

 

How is that? I love the original but the mix pack in the coolers around here are all four months old.

Closing out the afternoon with a WV beer I brought for my buddy to try - “Charlie West Coast IPA” by Fife Street Brewing, Charleston, WV:



Canned in April when I got it at the brewery. More malt forward and earthier than I remember. Pine and citrus. I will need to revisit when I return home next month. Headed out to dinner soon. Cheers!

Saturday dinner: Penne Bolognese with a big, delicious DIPA from Wilmington Brewing in North Carolina. I'm using my favorite pilsner glass from Highrail Brewing. Feels so good in the hand and very attractive logo. Sorry to see the brewery close.
