Belhaven Scottish Ale in the glass. This use to be one of my go to beers, not really the same anymore (since Green King bought them) but I'm still enjoying it enough. Not nearly as good as the great beers @Blogjackets is enjoying over there now though

I've always enjoyed Duck Rabbit beers, especially the Amber Ale. They used to have pretty good distribution here (GA), but not do easy to find these days.

 

There's definitely been a boom in Czech-style lagers lately, a long overdue development IMO. This is Mucha from Athens ' Creature Comforts, accompanied by Prague's greatest musical export, Master's Hammer.

Got a big blast of hard steady rain & wind that subsequently put the axe to my dirt haulin'. Cooled off a few degrees and is balmy and popping. Portage Darklines English Mild. Not many drops in this style floating around here. Cheers!!

 

First mowing of the grass for the year. Or should I say, mowing of the weeds. Oh well. I’m lucky to have land to mow. Crushing a Summerfest to the dome.



I was excited when this got re-released, but I’m not enjoying it as much as I’d hoped. It tastes different, I think. Perhaps I’ve just been spoiled by all the awesome lagers around.

 

Here in upstate North Carolina it is a perfect 75F and calm. We are at close to 1000 feet elevation and that always moderates us regionally. Our weather here is almost identical to Richmond further north. I do not like hot weather.......

 

There's a storm a brewing all around FL but so far nothing here. NB Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze while watching birds out front. Anyone else's wife ever steal a glass from Kowloon's on Rte 1 in Saugus MA?

 

Exact same feelings here. It's still good, but we've seen a veritable explosion of rad lagers lately.
