What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3877

Trying some Little SIp - I get major cat piss from this beer - now I know why I've avoided it, I tried it a long time ago and had the same impression.



Anyone heard from @TheIPAHunter - he hasn't posted in over a week, hoping all is okay with him.

Got some water on the garden since it looks like the thunderstorms are blowing by us to the east and south. Barely any rain in over a month here. Beer's wet though. Stone Downunderstruck. Cheers!

 

Sierra Nevada Summerfest German Pils (Magnum, Saphir, Tettnang, Tradition). I had a few of these last weekend at a bachelor party and they went down nicely in the warm weather. This one gets a ton of love on this forum and I can see why. Bright, crisp, and refreshing.

 

Having another brewed by Triple Crossing. This one is Clever Girl IPA.

You bought three four packs from Triple Crossing. Gave both son-in-laws two each. How many do you get to drink?

Anniversary Chaos Pattern from 3 Sheeps, a Hazy IPA with Peach & Apricot. Canned 5/5, this beer has some serious chunks, fortunately still pretty tasty. Happy Friday, BA!

 

Tell me about it. 5-6 years ago we went to Cooperstown, N.Y. on Mother's Day weekend. I engineered it, the whole point was to go to Ommegang, brews and food. And, they were closed for renovations. Prolly never get up that way again, or before Ommegang files Chapter 11.
And no, didn't even go to Baseball HOF.

Curious...Are you a fan of Sip of Sunshine? I thought Little Sip was ok but for a couple extra bucks, I felt SoS was an inexpensive and worthwhile upgrade. Cheers!

 

Stopped in at The Brew Bank in Ridgway, PA for a mediocre dinner and a few mediocre beers. Meh. The wife wanted to go. She's happy. So it's a win.

Had their Heist NEIPA (a hazy re: unfiltered ipa which is not an neipa), Overdraft IPA (a really old school style IPA), and Vienna Amber (like a light Sam Adam's without the hop bite).

Now another local. Bent Run Brewings new X-Files (trial) offering, Smile and Wave Boys

 

Thanks buddy, NPD is about 5 miles from our house, you can literally build a fox mustang from scratch with parts from them......now, if I could strum as good as I work on cars.......cheers mate, have a great weekend!!!

Okie-dokie, the chefs at Big Hammock said a non-hazy IPA would pair great with the food I took home.....all I know is it pairs well with Skrewball!!!!

Yes - I have some Sip in the fridge and will probably have one next. I like Sip, but I like Second Fiddle much better. But that's probably not a fair comparison since they really are quite different. I find Second Fiddle more in my face than Sip.

Sip is like a mild mannered gentleman whereas Second Fiddle is like an arrogant chap.

Cool - sounds like the new distributor is the way to go. New cars seem all but impossible to work on without specialized equipment and training.
