Jesus Christ, this is where it all goes down, the fire pit with endless wood supply, woodland trails connecting all the party neighbors, a sunken bomb shelter converted to climate controlled Miller Highlife refuge , plus dinner on Saturday night with Mom and Dad. And…. A soil remediation that rivals the efforts of Chernobyl.

Came back from my walk and grabbed a Waldos from the garage beer fridge, then discovered it was is d-e-a-d....dead. Spent time diagnosing and came to the conclusion it was the compressor. The fridge is already 25+ years old and compressors aren't available any more for that particular model. Bought a replacement on sale and will be delivered on Saturday. So-oooo... cracked open Numero-el-two-o and put my last Waldos to rest.

That one keeps building. Pulled me in.

 

Whole Hog (Point) Oatmeal Cream Pie Stout. It's been in the fridge for 6 months, It's tasting good.

 

Two Victory Storm King imperial stout with dinner tonight. Dinner was BLTs made from local tomatoes and local rye sourdough bread bought at the Saturday farmers market!

 

In SLC after a long travel day, I remember seeing this years ago when we lived in Minnesota and it was an OG WCDIPA.

Now it’s a hazy. I think I would’ve preferred the OG (though the hazy version is more than acceptable).

 

That song always got stuck in my head,maybe more than any other one on the whole album .

 

One more I decided, while my wife is up getting ready for bed.

 

I like the beer. Drank way too many over the years in country and not. Usually with lemon.
