No, that was earlier and released in growlers too. I believe it was Shhhhh! at the party.

I thought Shhhhh! was the one brewed at Lawson's.

Idk where it was brewed but it was the only Lawson’s collaboration they poured at the party.

correct. Pretty sure the Yaarrggh! release was probably the first genuine monson "holy shit, wtf is happening?" moment. Growlers, 2pp. Hours and hours wait. cars everywhere. Angry neighbors.

Doomfire is everything you want in a true treehouse IPA. To me, when I say that, I mean that specific yeast and hop profile we all know from back in the smaller site days. This one floored me. If you like the core three together, this is like a blend of all with an extra helping of haze. If that makes sense? Man, they nail it sometimes. 11 was fantastic as well. But that falls more inline with your favorite data set and fruit salad.

For those who have had their 11th Year Anniversary, just curious how it is. Thinking about making a run on Friday and was wondering if this is a must get.

I am really enjoying it. I think it’s a great blend of all things they’ve done recently with data set yeast as well as the Cora flavors. Great dipa

It's delicious, but at this point, is anything they do really all that different? Is it really as special as their soc med hype? It's all delicious, but at a higher price point. I bought 8 11th anniv and 8 Very Hazy this week. I wish I had more of the VH

I enjoyed Golden Bay. Tbh I thought it was better than most of their mixed ferms (it’s a pils to be clear). I heard there were 60 cases total, looks like Charlton is sold out.

Passed on the 11th anniversary beer, in regards to ipas I went for Julius, Green and Very Hazy. Grabbed the Canadian lager too

Canada gold delivers, at 4.3 the flavor is surprising. Mmmalt + cccrisp. Biscuit breads yeast Sasquatch hops. What’s else could you want? Really though, a crushable beer that doesn’t have to be crushed. Unlike a lot of low abv beers, it won’t leave you searching for a full flavor.

Doomfire is very HBC1019 forward. It dominates the flavor and aroma. It’s actually the first Treehouse (non Bright) that I can distinctly pick out the hop variety. Everything else is such a generic fruit salad to me.

1019 is pretty insane. It tramples every hop when it comes to intensity, even Galaxy. It’s a Daughter of Sabro and has some Sabro like qualities but mostly just the good ones. It evolves as the beer warms but at times it can smell exactly like Haribo peach gummies. Interested to see what people think of this hop as more if it is grown in the future. I hate Sabro but love 1019

Golden Bay is still available at all locations as of Friday morning, including Charlton. The Treehouse releases IG account says there were 50 cases packaged.

I fully agree. Sabro could disappear and I wouldn’t bat an eye. It’s just not good and everyone seemed to want to use it the last few years. Most likely due to the sideways galaxy crop and other supply chain hop issues. It was also just something new

Had my first pours at Tewksbury today, place is gonna be real nice when fully open. I was thinking they may have a couple different bar locations but the person I talked to today indicated that the current bar they are using will not be there in the future and that the space would be a "surprise". They also indicated they will continue to bring the beer to your car at the "outpost" as I had asked if they might set up coolers inside for people to choose from.

Man, people sure love to bring their kids to breweries these days. For the most part not an issue but when the people there today let their kids run all over the place unsupervised, leading to staff having to go get them from the restricted areas still under construction while the parents sat and did nothing..., well, come on people, parent your damn kids!

Definitely looking forward to some return visits.

Any recommendations for family friendly activities in and around Sturbridge/Charlton? I'm aware of B.T.'s BBQ and Old Sturbridge Village, but curious if there are any other recommendations within a 30 min radius...

If you like the outdoors, I would recommend Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union, CT. Underrated place to go for a hike and a picnic. Mountain laurel is in full bloom and is prevalent along the trails there.

It’s not good when they release a new hype bomb (Ultimate Machine) and I know exactly what it’s going to taste like, and I’m not even considering buying it. Can we get some new 7.5% beers please???

Hasn't that always been the case though? Each family of beer has a distinct taste within that overall Tree House bubblegum yeast profile, with the intensity of that taste ramping up as the ABV gets higher. I don't think I've tasted a novel tase out of them since trying the original core beers. All of their curiosities and other releases tend to blend together in my book. But that's OK, those core beers are still delicious and that's why I always go back

They certainly like to innovate and release plenty of sub 7.5 beers. Spend some time at the classics bar alone
