Happy Wednesday to all you sneaky mid-week beer drinkers out there!

Today's sneakiest beer is Leo by Boon Rawd Brewery. Sneaky because other than drinking it in a Thai sauna there's no reason to ever drink this beer, but because the sneaky little sneaker snuck into my fridge, I had to do the right thing by it and give it a good home. My kindness will be the death of me one day, sneaky-style no doubt.

    Cheers!

Good day to all sneaky Wednesday beer drinkers, drinking sneaky beers, under the sneaky sun or the shades of their sneaky living room.

La Goudale in a larger format; 500ml can before allowing myself to go horizontal for a little bit.

I got in a camping trip last week just as the last of our good spring weather ended. From now on it will be 90 degrees in between thunderstorms. Big news in my neighborhood. In the next few weeks an Iron Hill brewpub opens that I can see from my house, and the Bierkeller brick and mortar brewery will be open.

I am in the process of writing a script for my wife's podcast, and the creative juices are just not flowing. Maybe this will help.

We had an intense, but brief, storm roll through last night. Nothing was harmed.

    Hello BAs!

Having witnessed a torrent of these posted recently, tracked down some of my own.

I've never had previously, so I wouldn't know the difference with this revised recipe.

Taking another rest day to enjoy some day beers, and this is a very fine start!

Cheers to beers and nipples of all sizes!

I can definitely see why folks have been slamming these Summerfest down.

Russian River Brewing Co. -- R-N-D Series - IPA #18

Subdued, clear yellow body; fair carbonation; thick, sudsy head, white and somewhat sticky. Light bready nose with a well-balanced presence of pine resin and floral hops. Very little malt flavor up front; very subtle biscuit; mild bitterness with a grassy, pine-like; flavor; white grape must; hard to categorize fruity esters lurking in the background. Medium body; crisp; mild dryness throughout.

For an experimental India pale ale, this one is rather intriguing. It won't be mistaken for Pliny the Elder, Blind Pig, or Happy Hops, yet it still has a nice, subtle allure. Five hop varietals were used: Motueka, Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin, Pacific Sunrise, & Riwaka.

Well, shucks. I'm gonna nurse this nipple glass filled with Summit Twins Pils. Final tin in the stube. Dang. Such a pleasant beer. Chairs!
