I concur, always a pleasure to see the Leper drop in. And his pictures are gorgeous as always.

 

#2, this “pandemic-centric” beer (bottled 10/2/20) hit my sweet spot with a 4.69 rating on BA - and after tasting it with nearly 3 years of whiskers, I think I underrated it, because the fudge, maple, and oak notes are EXPLODING from my glass. This may be the best beer I’ve had this year.

That’s right, I typed that.

If this is offered again, I will purchase a keg. IJS.

All I can say is GODDAMN!!! That just looks stunning - really nicely done

 

Drekker Tropical Crisp Slang Du Jour Sour à la Mode, 6.2% ABV. Pours thick and opaque bright orange with a two-finger light-orange head that left lots of foamy puree residue. Aroma is mango, pineapple, coconut, and granola. Taste follows, quite sweet, faintly tart. Excellent thick and creamy mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

Oh hell. Another beer is perfect right now! That Wookie Jules, Jack's cousin from France, was bitchin'. Love it. But it's back to good ol' August Schell's Light Lager. Hey, here's lookin' out my front door (new grass comin' in) and a wee yard art thingy. Heyoooo! Bas!!

 

Dry iced and on the way on a silver platter!

 

I always dig this one, but still miss the original 9% instead of 8%. A different beer, but still very good.

 

Looking good chef! Show us the final project. What you doing with the sweet potato? Fries?
