Would like this as well but seeing as Part 2 was a BW it might not be likely. My guess is a stout or brown ale.

Would love to see it be a big ass Doppelbock.

Both breweries can make quality lagers, just sayin'...

Barrel aged lager would be nice. One of the best beers I've had is Autumna from Hill Farmstead.

Actually, now that I think about Memoria from Hill Farmstead also falls in that category. Phenomenal lagers.

Maybe a blend of Parts 1 and 2 with further aging? Rev loves their blending ...

I think Revolution would really do great with something in the vein of Massacre from Wolverine State.

Any info on when Season Tickets open up to the plebs? I missed out last year and don’t want a repeat.

Is anyone planning on increasing their Season Ticket quantity? I purchased 1 last year, but I'm leaning towards 2 this year. I ended up purchasing another two-three 4packs of almost every release last year anyway so I figure I might as well save a few bucks at the start of it all.

Going the other way, is anyone planning on lowering Season Ticket quantity or getting out of it altogether?

I’m tempted to drop because unless there’s a noticeable decrease in production I only see one or two on the list I’d be afraid of missing out on. Unfortunately summer coincides with a pretty significant drop in income for my household and I hesitate to use/defer savings for beer.

However, I’ll most likely renew if only to stay in the program.

Have 2 and staying at 2. There are only about 1-2 beers that I wouldn’t get an extra 4 pack of, but the savings offset those costs. It’s also great when a beer your were hesitant about turns out to be a stunner (VSO Dark Mode, Lumberstruck). I was so happy I had an extra 4 pack of each of those last year.

I also use this to set my beer budget. It’s much easier to pass on every hype release that pops up knowing I have a cellar stocked of Rev beers to get me through the year.

My season passes also serve has my Birthday, Christmas, Anniversary, and Father’s Day presents from my wife. Makes life extremely easy for her and makes me feel a LOT less guilty about my beer spending habits.

Just a helpful tip for anyone looking to increase from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3.

I'd been wavering somewhat between sticking with 1 or upping to 2, but I've just decided to go with 2 this year. I guess I need to go thank my wife now.

This past year I found myself passing on many other releases that in previous years I would have pulled the trigger on. With 2 Season Tickets this year I'll no doubt pass on even more. Definitely not a complaint.

I went back and forth on going from 1 to 2, but ultimately decided to stick with one. I'm drinking less high ABV beer and trying not to keep excess on hand, so it made sense to stick with what worked last year. That being said, I was very happy they provided that as an option. I'm going from 2 to 1. Very skeptical of Life Jacket (plus my wife is allergic to mango), and while I usually like Deth by Cherries only need 1 4-pack there. So between that and the more limited bonus 4-pack options figure it's better to use the funds from the second pass to grab extras in the public sales

Going from 2 to 1. It's a lot of beer that I get on a roll for drinking. I also bought additional packs last year of desired releases, and this season, though, they're fantastic and delicious, I'm cutting down the barleywine and rye purchases in preference of the stout releases where I'll be able to go heavier on additional packs outside the bundle. The season pass is still awesome and an excellent deal. I'm surprised Rev is still capable of keeping it so reasonable. And with Rev, I pretty much don't feel the need or even desire anymore to have to chase down and buy any barrel aged releases in the year outside of the Rev lineup.

I was 2 last year, stayed at 2 this year. One is mine, one is for my friend who lives walking distance to Rev. It's a win-win situation for us. Excited to be on-board the season ticket once again!

Ultimately I decided to stay with 1 Season Ticket again this year. The couple of unknowns coming up made me pause, and then seeing the ~$900 with taxes in lump sum right away made me turn back! Still think it's a good deal, but I too will be targeting multiples for specific beers.

Which release is everyone excited for the most?

I have to say that Cafe Deth has pleasantly surprised me last year, definitely on the level of Supermassive, which was a great surprise.

Rev's stouts and barleywines are evolving over time and I want to say that they've all gotten a bit sweeter in the past few years, so I think that's going to reflect really well on DB VSOD.

Finally, I really dug both the On & On stout and barleywine, so I'm looking forward to seeing what that offers.

Any guesses on what VSOR select is? Some select barrels? Or 4x Single barrel versions?! :astonished:
