Summerfest 2022 was only DTC/Chico Area & Gift Shops. Summer Break was our seasonal.

Summerfest exceeded our expectations and we had to ramp up production.

FYI - I hope Crisp Little Thing becomes a year-round. I'm really enjoying it.

Terence, will there be multiple production batches of Summerfest for 2023? The cans from the six-pack I purchased list: "PKGD 040323". Will I see later dates?
If I am ever able to find this beer as a 'standalone' product I will purchase it. How would you characterize the aroma/flavor contributions of Mosaic in this specific beer? In my homebrewing I find the flavor contributions of the Mosaic hops I purchase to be quite variable.

    Cheers!

P.S. Hopefully you got to read my NBW discussion of this year's Summerfest beer. I am a fan of this year's version.

    @JackHorzempa

Yes, you should see additional packaging runs assuming that your distributor will be order more after their first shipment. Looks like most PA distributors have placed multiple shipments. We should be packaging the last tank at the end of this month in NC.

The Crisp is clean, dry and crisp with a low fruity, floral aroma... We are only hopping it at ~0.2 pounds Mosiac/bbl on the aroma side.

I'll look for the NBW discussion.

So happy that bringing back Summerfest was well received, along with the Fan Favorites pack. Thanks for all the support from the BA subscribers! It's never overlooked.

Great to hear! Hope we can see it again next year. And someone should throw @tolar111 some Summerfest swag for his dedication to the cause.

Hopefully, this gives SN confidence they can do further limited, national distro runs on other fan favorites (and which are not necessarily IPAs).

Thanks for the props! I did add another 12 pack to the body count today, I was in another store of the same supermarket chain and they had a bin full of Summerfest. These had the same 4/24/23 date as my last 12 pack. I may not be done with Summerfest just yet

Considering it's not really even summer yet, you should be good to go!

Well, I'd like to think all those 12-packs might last to late August. :grimacing:

I saw the Hopleaf in Chicago has Summerfest on draft. First place in the city I've seen this.

    I'll be there soon!!

Get some! It’s just as solid on draft.

I mentioned last week that this Allagash Beach Report really gives me Summerfest vibes and works as a substitute. Alas, it's $12.99 a 4-pack. In a way Summerfest really was the best beer at the right price.

While I found Deschutes King Crisp at $10 a 6-pack, and enjoyed it okay -- and I've not shirked my responsibility on contributing to Summerfest's successful return, $14 12-packs of Trumer have become my go-to purchases to have on-hand.

Damn, that's one hell of a deal. I haven't found 12 packs anywhere but 6ers are 10.99 at my regular haunts

Nah, I mis-spoke -- rounded my numbers down instead of up. $14 & $15 -- beats the heck out of most 4-packs, though.

I also have a local with a perpetual sale on Paulaner Pils for $7 a 4-pack -- half liter cans.

But I'll let you gloat in January.

Perhaps a bit...sharper (?) on draft? A real easy sipper on a gorgeous Chicago night.

I finally found some... In California, not Arizona. I am underwhelmed. I have had much better lagers than this.

Don't compare it to all lagers, maybe just Pilsners and Helles -- or even Dortmunder.
