Humble Forager Existential Bliss BBA Imperial Stout, 12.5% ABV. I rated this 4.84, tied with Prairie Pirate Weekend as my favorite beers. Both are incredible, other-world-class.

Received from @Resistance88 - I’m not sure why, but this one hit me almost perfectly, just what my palate wanted. Darned good imperial stout full of dark chocolate and dark fruit flavors and zero bitterness. Nice.
Thanks man, this was really good.

I never tried this one myself . .. i may have to get around to it as I've seen them on shelves. I really can't justify buying any beer at the moment being at around 200 in the "cellar" and lately drinking one over a span of 2-3 days, but man i still get tempted.
Glad you enjoyed it . The tequila barrel turned me off of it when it released and now I'm kinda intrigued. Tequila Barrel Aged Speedway is one of the better ones I've had and don't think ive tried PNC or any similar from FW

Sometimes it feels like all I drink lately is Willetized. Got em for 10.99 a 4 pack at one local shop, in the fridge too. Hard to beat.

I gotta say, at that price I’d buy a bunch too. And you could do *much* worse with a single beer!

    Yeah I'm not complaining.

This feels like a cry for help. My work schedule is lightening in about 2 weeks. I'll put aside my family duties and come help a fellow advocate clear out their cellar.

Maybe if I try to keep up with you at the gym (should leave me pretty well wrecked) my wife won't get too mad about it. It's to help out a friend afterall

@micada I am kicking myself for the delay in action regarding this beer.

    Turn and Burn War Horse

Finally stopped in at the brewery, and knew this would be heading home with us. The richness and subtleties live up to the expectations. Long lasting head leaves nice lace, a viscous film eventually produces voluptuous legs. The aroma opens with a melange of sweet bourbon, charred malt and peat, and light anise. The flavors follow through on the promise, adding espresso and baker’s chocolate. Warmth allows all these characteristics to mature deeply.

The wax dipped can may be a gimmick, but the beer certainly delivers. Just a joy to experience on a cool afternoon while songbirds orchestrate the silence. I’m very much looking forward to the “chocolate” variant and will definitely make a slight detour to get the “vanilla” and some reinforcements for the whole regiment.

The vanilla was too much vanilla for me, but the chocolate version is another must have IMO.

Lately, Dragons Milk has come up, so I decided to look for one at the local shop. Found their last pack hidden in the back of the cooler. Dated 4/13/21. At least it was refrigerated and out of sunlight, so I grabbed it. Tasting great. Idk how they get so much bourbon into this for how little it ages in the barrels, and how mass produced it is. Good on you New Holland

I remember enjoying that one when it was fresh. Glad it's still pretty good after a few years.
