Plus, it seems like the Karbach hype train is gaining steam. I mean I remember when Krunkin came out... It was so easy to find and they had multiple bottles left at Smith St. when i got out of work at 6:00.

If this is true it's an absolute slap in the face of the Houston market. Most Specs will be lucky to get 2 cases.

 

The first Jester King bottles were sold at West Lakeview Liquors in Chicago. Sometimes this sort of thing happens. Not saying it's right. Which Binny's?

 

Binny's is the Specs of the Chicago area.

 

Chicago should not be getting this beer.

It's bad to strip your customer base to have a very small amount go to another market. Especially with how limited the Karbach Barrel aged stuff has been.

If they want to export anything it should be their base lineup, not rarities.

I agree, I am not sure it is true though. Karback is very adamant about keep their stuff in Houston. I am in Illinois right now, and follow Binny's. Have not heard a thing about it. Me thinks it is a little joke, but always hard to tell with certain posters

I'd assume so too. It would be uncool when so many people in Austin and DFW have been clamoring for Karbach for months and deciding to go to Chicago instead.

Maybe the rumor was meant to poke fun at the fact that Karbach is very Houston-centric.
