Waited all afternoon for the hospital bed that was supposed to be delivered and set up today. He never showed up. No phone call or text indicating a delay or change of delivery plans. Maybe it will be here tonight way past their business hours.

I am too tired and too aggravated to dwell on it. Decided to have a beer.

2nd from the fan fave pack. I thing I purchased this twice. Not sure why I didn't get more because its classic West Coast. Bitter pine and grapefruit with a dank and soapy hop presence in the dry finish.

 

This was the first year I had ever been to treehouse and I will likely try to visit them at least once a year from here on out. There stouts, porters, and brown ales all have been great.

Sup, advocates. Drinking a Rare Trait. I don't drink hazies very often anymore but I felt in a rare (pun not intended) mood for one. This one is pretty delicious--although I do notice a slight tingle my throat from it, so yeah, it's not perfect. First actually hot day in Denver of the year, imo--91 degrees and the UV index is blazing. I went for a short walk earlier but now I'm staying in the shade.

I love this glass, but I might wash it before I reuse it because I think it's a little dirty.



Not feeling great today. I've had on and off problems with lower back pain for months now, and in the past two weeks it's taken a turn for the worse. I can't lie down or sleep for more than a few hours at a time without waking up in agony. The pain subsides when I get up and sit or walk around for a few hours, but unfortunately this prevents me from ever getting a satisfactory amount of sleep, leaving me in a state of constant grogginess and exhaustion. I have a lot of important stuff to do--including mailing some beer to a friend--but I'm really struggling to perform even basic tasks. I already made a doctor's appointment but it's not for a few more weeks. Here's to hoping I get some answers and some desperately needed sleep soon.

 

Right now the Dodgers have their worst team in the last ten years. But maybe that’ll be a good thing come playoffs (if they make it). Being the. I liked Ruthless Rye also, but I really miss Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye and Founders Red's Rye IPA. I think the Red's Rye is draft only now, I guess it fell off a cliff real quick in the bottles, but fresh, it was awesome.
