Picked these Riding Bikes In Munich Helles style beer up this weekend. They were canned last week. Super fresh. Drinking these after the AAL really highlights the differences. The Helles has a nice graininess I like and is a little more dry.



The doe came back while I'm chilling on the deck. I think she likes Miles Davis tunes.

Gummypocalypse, a Northeast India Pale Ale from Noon Whistle, with Citra, Simcoe & El Dorado.

I was completely blown away seeing these two on stage last night. Whatever your musical taste, I would recommend to anyone. So good. Taking a Lucinda Williams classic to another level on this one.

Awesome your Mom can still hoist a beer! My Mom will be 90 in October and her beer of choice is Miller Light which is enjoyed at her retirement home whenever outside entertainment is brought in. Here's to many more!

Awesome David that you were able to get a shot from your porch! Love living in a semi-rural area, as the occasional black bear will raid a neighbor's bird feeder every so often.
Schilling is worth a road trip not only for their beers but the asthetics of their brewpub.

Round 1 today is a nicely made porter from Edmund's Oast, a regional brewer out of Charleston, SC. They are very consistent quality wise considering they brew most major American styles. Chilling with a mix of jazz, cannot get enough of this song.

Around 27 not including acoustics - probably 31 if I count acoustics as well.

 

Tom, the funny thing is, I live in the middle of a subdivision a few miles north of Alpharetta. It's almost not semi-rural anymore. There is a deep ravine behind my house and the other half of the subdivision on the other side. But it's enough cover that this doe has made it her birthing spot.

Speaking of black bears. I don't know if you saw me post this a week ago but my son, who is a Cherokee County GA Sheriff's Deputy, was pulling the graveyard shift one night and hit a black bear cub with his patrol car. He had no idea what he hit at first until he got out of the car. Wildlife doesn't have a chance around here. Nice music choice btw! Cheers Tom!

Boulevard rye on rye. Such an exceptional beer, powerful with tons of complexity. Nice to find this in a four pack of 12oz bottles, I soloed a 750 once and didn’t feel so hot the next day. Sitting on the back deck watching the rain before getting started on dinner prep.
