Time for lunch at one of my favorite super local brewers, Vitamin Sea.
Left is One Big Happy Family - Triple NEIPA hopped with Citra and Cashmere 10.2%
Right is Hello From OB - DIPA that pats tribute to the San Diego surf culture. Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo and Strata.

I've had the first and it's great. The second is also tasty. Dank in the way dank really means.

The city has declared a death from heat event for the 3th of July weekend, so I got up and did a bike ride at 8 am. Worked out ok. Now enjoying a Hop, Drop 'N Roll.

Returning to my usual post-run N/A UA selection, ItalPils, for now.
18 miler in the books with 25-30 minutes worth of tempo running sandwiched somewhere in between.

Beautiful day here along the Front Range - cheers to all, we'll see about the real stuff later, but I'm afraid I have to be a little more restrained over the next 7 weeks.

Busy day all around the ballpark today. She's got a show at 6:30pm tonight across the way at Paycor Stadium and the fans are already lined up to buy swifty swag...

 

Happy Saturday, BAs! I worked up a powerful thirst this morning lugging new deck furniture up 3 flights of stairs to the roof deck. So I’m cooling off at Slack Tide’s new brewery/tasting room which opened yesterday. It’s a beautiful space but they’ve managed to preserve some of the feel and intimacy of the old place. I’m drinking a new-to-me beer, Long Reach, a Wheat Ale with black tea which hives it a nice earthy, spicy taste. Good stuff! Cheers

Combining that with what the Cincinnati Reds are doing right now, must be electric. The NL Central is at the Cincinnati Reds' mercy. If Joey Votto goes yard today, I expect you will take your shirt off, then Stone Cold all the beers you can fit in your hands.

Got a Prison Pals (Doral, FL) ‘La Colorada’ Czech-style amber lager in the glass. Cheeeeers!

This tasty brew took my brains back to Prague. Everywhere I went, I asked for ‘dark beer’ - and experienced many. La Colorada is super fresh, malty, hoppy, delicious!

The crowd is rolling in so I’m grabbing one more quick pour - a favorite of mine - Doormat, a NEIPA. This batch was just released yesterday in celebration of the move to the new location.
