    BA Lay This Body Down | 13% 500ml

    "This double mash stout was aged in a Willet Family Estate bourbon barrel until it gave us the rich chocolate notes we wanted for this particular beer. We then conditioned it on toasted coconut, Michigan maple syrup and coffee roasted by our friends at Greenglass Coffee Co."

    Was not familiar with WW when b1 came out and missed the sale on b2, so hoping third time is the charm!

    Batch 1 was the first beer I ever tried from WW… Had it at a share. I’ve been hooked ever sense :slight_smile:

    For what it’s worth, Vanilla Rye Heights is damn near perfect for me. The spice from the rye is present and the vanilla is noticeable but not overpowering which is exactly the intent of the Heights series. I might have been a tad generous rating it a five but it’s definitely up there as one of their best BA offerings for me.

    Tequila Barrel Peach Sunsprite | Mixed Culture Fruited Sour | 10% (500mL bottle)


    Beginning with a blend of barrels from our solera project, we conditioned this beer on whole peaches and agave syrup before aging it in a freshly dumped tequila barrel. A full and soft texture from the fruit and syrup buoys the complex sour notes of the base beer. The spirited tequila notes make this a perfect beer for the warmer months.

    Harbors 3: 19 Year Mammoth Rye Finishing Barrel | Double Barrel-Aged Barleywine
    13% (500ml bottle)

    This barleywine began in small format rye whiskey barrels before finishing in a white burgundy wine barrel that held 19 year Mammoth Rye Whiskey.

    Pickup not until 7/15 so public sale is probably a ways out

    At the beach house in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Celebrating my wedding anniversary and couldn't be enjoying this more. They did a great job on this beer. Easily my favorite continuous series from these guys. Looking forward to the next one.

    I'm a mug club member and try to visit the taproom as much as possible (especially since they'll let you bring in food from the excellent Mexican restaurant a few doors down), but I haven't been purchasing these last several barrel aged releases. They're crossing over the $2/ounce threshold and I'm not really interested in $12 for 5 oz pours on-site. Excellent beers, just a little too spendy for me.

    Heights 2023 is up. $32/3 per person.

    Heights 2023: Barrel Aged Stout | 15% (500mL bottle)

    This beer is a culmination of our favorite barrels from the past year, blended to taste to let the beer and the barrel shine.

    Heights 2023 is available for pick-up beginning Saturday, July 15th, when the taproom opens at 12pm. All orders MUST be picked up by July 30th.
