And I thought I had a great week.

 

Really? Now I don't feel as sad that I missed KBS this year. Okay maybe I'm still a little sad. haha
My first year into the craft beer world and I miss one of the biggest. And DLD!

 

Don't worry about missing these releases...since this is your first year, you'll notice that there are so many releases throughout the year that it's ridiculous...It seems to me that there's a release every week or every other week...if you miss a release, it's not that hard to trade for the beer that you've missed...

This is also my first year. The special releases seem never ending. Fortunately, or unfortunately for my wallet, I've caught a few. Hopslam and KBS set you back a bit by the case. KBS is totally worth it though, not sure about Hopslam. But yeah, there's always time and so many releases.

 

The best part is when you discover you like some regulars or some easy to get seasonals just as much as the hard to get specials/seasonals.

 

Did you get this locally (in the US)? I just want to know if Cantillon really changed the label of Classic.

 

In pretty sure they didn't change the label. Those are most likely Bottles from overseas. I just picked up some from a late 2011 bottling with the same classic gueuze labels I'm used to seeing.

 

Thats what people keep saying, but I have seen many people post bottles with the Euro label.

 

That's because it's much easier to order bottles from Belgian than it is to buy them on the shelves. I don't even bother looking on the shelves for them any more. It's too easy to click your mouse a few times and then have a dozen Cantillon show up at your door 2 weeks later.

A few things I picked up today (already got a 4 pk of KBS last week). Took a chance with the one on the right end(Two Brothers Circus Penguin) as I'm not sure if it is new or old. First time finding Sculpin in Ohio and I can't wait to try it (maybe while the Buckeyes are beating the Bearcats).

 

Just some brews I have acquired in the last week or so.

 

That sure is a nice looking bottle of Darklord you have there. Lol.

 

Screw the Dark Lord. I want the Armand 4 and the Hunahpu. Oh and Zombie Dust. Always want ZD!
