    Hitachino Espresso Stout. Such a great beer.

    Something I didn’t mention so far in the public forum and this thread but a few days before going for a Tenerife vacay in June I suffered a kneecap dislocation while slipping on my floor.

    Why it’s taking me near two months to finally talk about it? It’s still a pain and I’m procrastinating and postponing the MRI at the clinic. It’s highly possible that I’ll have to undergo surgery later this summer. Not keen one little bit…

    Next is a gorgeous IPA by Track from Manchester, whose taproom I might well visit in early September @EmperorBevis. Nelson, Citra and Rakau is a wonderful combo!

    Oh, I know where it is! Will have a day and a half in Manchester after five days in Leeds, so I'll check out a few places. Have you been to Peveril of the Peak?

    Yes, classic Manchester pub, spot on beer though limited choice,love the original brewery tiles in there.

    The places I feel are musts are Peveril, Sadler's Cat, Beermoth and Port Street Beerhouse. Anything I'm missing? I've promised to not go to Cloudwater until the spring. :slight_smile:

    I take it you have already been to the Marble Arch?
    The Smithfield Tavern, Fringe Bar isn’t as stand out a place but still worth a look.
    Trying to find my notes on Sadler’s cat atm

    Dunham Massey’s Brewery tap, Costellos bar, indoor market with Blackjack bar & some quirky interesting bars that aren’t your usual Manchester/English beer places
