Is SP a stickler for pick up windows? The new LC package says pick up window ends Aug 14th. I’m out of the country until the 10th and not local. My usually proxy can’t make it until Sept 1. I will email and ask, but curious if anyone had any issue getting an extension.

If you email them, I'm certain they will accommodate you.

Another way Side Project is better than Phase Three!

Any info on Maltvin? Prize and size? Bundle or no bundle? I need to try and get my hands on a bottle to have alongside the three stouts brewed by Evil Twin NYC with Side Project.

375mL for sure (pretty sure the 750mL stout / bw bottle is dead)

did not say anything about being packaged.

also, said no limit, first come / first served

    guessing $35

edit: oh, and no wax so you know that trade value’s gonna suffer

There could finally be a good Phase Three beer. Of course not made by them though.

Time to update/test the “LC doesn’t get collabs” theory with the first one since the overall in general move to 375s.

Does Phase 3 not make good beer anymore? I haven't been able to get most of their stuff but Eunoia B1 was amazing and B8 was pretty solid as well

When visiting Phase 3, they were doing bottle pours. Minutiae was fantastic, Eunoia 9 was not good.

Not an Ambassador here, so I'll let one of them speak, but I have had a handful of their stouts (BA and not BA). I think one of the bigger complaints I've heard on the stout end is they are always heavily adjuncted and there's little to no barrel presence in those. People want more straight barrel aged stuff as opposed to always going to pastry town. So not so much about they don't make good beer anymore, folks (at least on here), want more barrel expression. Also they want them to stop using Tugboat coffee.

This is why Voodoo quietly became my favorite BA stout producer over the last few years.

I initially was a little cold towards them, both because of the difficulty of getting there in time for an in-person release, and also because some of their early bottles didn't strike me well. But they've become so consistent, and I love the results they achieve. Plus they hardly ever rely on adjunct, and getting two 12oz bottles allows me to enjoy a full glass all by myself guilt free.
