Not sure if it was 330 ml. Definitely had a pop-cap, not cork&cage. It looked just like your bottle.

I had a very flavorful French style saison this evening at our very local KinderHill Brewing. Sweet fruit, white pepper, vanilla, and candied oranges. Full bodied and packed a bit of a punch at 7.5 ABV.

Caves Saison Batch 001 from Block 15 Brewery in Corvallis, Oregon, a place more noted for endless IPAs. For this Saison they use a large oak foudre for conditioning and are reserving a portion for blending with the next batch.

My first taste of Sidereal Farm Brewery from Vassalboro, ME. Their Spring Saison “Equinoxe de Printemps” is absolutely hitting the spot tonight. Classic peppery spice, clove, lemon pith, floral bitterness on the backend. Looking forward to trying more in the future.

Not quite a saison, but I'll just sneak this little grisette in here. Full review here and in NBW #157.

Is/Was Brewing's Levain conditioned on fresh Bergamot juice and zest. I received it from @FBarber in an NBS BIF. What a delightful, tart, refreshing Saison. I just reviewed it on the NBW thread. Thank you, Frank!

Personally, I don't think it's fitting to claim that it is a grisette and not quite a saison (despite how it's listed on BA). The brewer doesn't claim that it is either of those types (as far as I've seen), but markets it as a table beer. It was inspired by Dupont's Avril, which was also marketed as a table beer. (I'm not implying that it's ill-fitting for the thread )

First beer in this 2023 thread. Far too long.

It's the time, of the season for Saison.

Bountiful. The first splash from the tap was 90% head, 10% beer.

It was beautiful. And I'm patient about things like this.

I need to post in this thread more! Admittedly, I don't drink a lot of saison, but I have been exploring the Fantome lineup recently and will post here. Tonight I'm drinking a saison from Alberta, Canada. The can is 2 years old, and I think it was better fresh. Mild sweetness, light citrus, and malty. Not much funk left. Very smooth.

From yesterday: New Glarus Spotted Cow. I picked this up during a quick jaunt across the border a couple of weeks ago. It had been a while, and I'd forgotten how good this is. Probably because the last time I had it, I thought it was a cream ale. True story.

Lol whaaaat. I haven’t had that in years but I had no idea it was a saison. Always assumed it was an American blonde.

It's not a beer designed to be in a particular style. It's been categorized as a cream ale. It's been categorized as a saison... because the brewers call it a "farmhouse ale." The beer is basically an imaginary Wisconsin farmhouse ale. Ingredients are: pilsner malt, white wheat, and caramel malt... Saaz hops... "German" top-fermenting yeast. It used to have corn, but no longer (which might help to explain the common cream ale categorization). Unfiltered.
