On an interesting note, Cory let us know his true feelings regarding coco vibes. He told me once in person that it's pretty sickening to make with the pure amount of coconut that's required. Said it's so overwhelming that it's just not enjoyable for any of the brewers.

He stated in the LC email that it's super wastful as well. The coconut alone absorbed approximately 120 gallons of juice. It completely depletes their stout stock and the waste is equivalent to 1200 375ml bottles. :scream:

Enjoy this batch cause it may not get made again. He's basically saying he hates it :joy::rofl:

I can see we've got an Impractical Jokers fan on our hands. Degenerate.
You're telling me they haven't installed the coconut press 9000 yet?

Will this be the first Beer Advocate post to be entered into evidence in a divorce proceeding? I hope not.

It's interesting how a package with one less bottle in it and a higher price point completely sold out whilst an arguably better beer with more extras is still sitting in the webstore. I would assume that the disparity in batch size is the main culprit for this but still interesting, nonetheless. I would be curious to know how many people that passed on a RBBT package decided the Coco package was worth it. My first guess would be the asshats who are selling/flipping their beer instead of drinking it. Then again, maybe I'm just underestimating the number of people in the Coco Vibes fan club. I understand that there were a couple opportunities outside of the package for LC to buy RBBT so that was probably a factor considering the garage sale and single bottle option, but I think at the price point, personally I would rather have another bottle of RBBT and the three wilds it comes with over a second bottle of Coco Vibes and its package.

I don’t think it’s that complicated. One bundle is a beer people have been begging for nearly five years for with 2 new beers. The other is a seemingly annual release, the second version of the beer this year, and bundled with two bottles that have been in most of the packages so far.

Also. Coconut is the best adjunct.

When it's done well, maybe. I've had far too many bottles of sunscreen to concur with this take in general, though.

Obviously I’m not talking about poorly made coconut beers when I say coconut is the best adjunct. That is implied by the idea of coconut beers being good.

For sure. I was just mentioning that it tends to be far harder to incorporate than something like coffee or vanilla. The highs are high, but the hit rate is low.

Only way I see these selling out now is during anniversary weekend or over the holidays when people coming into town to visit who didn’t want to go through the trouble of finding a proxy and paying shipping buy them up.

Just crazy to think that a beer like Rye BBT is sitting there for anyone to buy a month after going up for sale. If you told me it would be like this just a few years ago I never in my life would have believed it.

How often are y'all French pressing BA stouts with coconut? A regular pressure release valve like that might have relieved all this pent up sexual frustration.

Also, someone show me some Cocomungo/BA Coco Vibes side by sides :stuck_out_tongue:
