It's all of you that post regularly that keep this alive.

While i have certainly scaled wayyy back on imperial stout consumption it still holds a place in my heart!

I'll post something this coming week for sure

Enjoying this from Saugatuck, a tasty BA RIS, checking in a "sessionable" 15%, what's not to like! Canned 08/31/2020.

At Lot Has Changed. An imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels for three years. At 3 Sheeps Brewing. It is very delicious.

Nothing like a Handjob on the hottest day of the year

I finally secured a 3 Floyds Marshmallow Handjee and drank it a few days ago for review 1800. Drinking it outside when it was 103 degrees between the humidity and sun wasn't the best idea, but totally worth it. It's not a RIS in the traditional sense, but there's still great roasty and bitter notes to back up the sweetness, and it all results in a killer beer that lives up to the hype

    Love the nickname!

Enjoying another round of WUWWS. Rating this since this is the first brew of the day. Love that it comes across as a RIS given the coffee addition and hopping give it a nice edge in the finish. Rated 4.27.
    Cheers from Bolton Valley, VT!

Not sure if it’s better or not as good but it was really, really good.

You can tell just by the head appearance, this is a high quality beverage.

There's a few old school legends that I should try to get. Dark Lord, Handjee, Assassin, SR-71, Mornin' Delight. Never had any of them

Nice black pour yields a small tan head.
Snot machine says, vanila, toffee, some dark fruit, and a bit of roasted malts, taste buds agree. Thick'n oily great mouthfeel. Id buy this again in a heartbeart!

It's a nice change from what I've been drinking lately . I get lots of cocoa notes in this one and it goes down easy. I can drink pints upon pints of this

    Lots of bitter chocolate, char
Lovely tension between the full texture and the sharp turn toward bitterness

I had this yesterday for the first time.

It is now my second highest rated beer on BA - and I’ve reviewed/rated a LOT of beers. This is upper echelon world class, IMHO.

By chance, last time I was in Colorado, I went to a bottle shop that @beergoot had mentioned and found these. Not sure it’s imperial or not but it drinks like one. Maybe the best non imperial, non BA stout I’ve had the pleasure of having.

Prairie Artisan Ales Pecans in Paradise bourbon barrel aged- warm, comforting and boozy. Perfect for 92 degrees at 11 am, as long as you are in the air conditioning.
