Steak didn't get on the grill till after 1am EDT, and I was unable to post lmao.

Just another hunka meat on da Interwebz, but wet-aging and dry-brining was tops flavor!!

Thursday cheers, BAs. I’m at our local brewery, Autodidact, trying a newly-released NEIPA called Glint. This one features El Dorado. Nice notes of orange and a great mouth feel. I like it!

 

Another One. An IPA brewed by Maine Beer Company. Oysters tonight folks. Been too long.

Today was a total beat down. I mean total.
It's not really important when you see what's going on in Hawaii.
I wish the islands the best. Hopefully some of our glorious leaders will get their heads out of their asses so we can save this planet for our kids and their kids.. that's all I want. I will be dead when this disaster takes hold of this planet.

Having a Second Fiddle after some wings for dinner.





My daughter has been dancing since she was a little girl. She's still dancing and this was from a recent show she did this spring. She's featured on the first song and she did all the choreography herself, I'm pretty proud of her. She's in most of the other dances as well.

 

I'm not so sure we'll be dead before the disaster takes hold, there's already plenty of signs of impending disaster with super hot heat waves, increased potency of storms and other disasters like what's going on in Hawaii. I listened to an interesting show on NPR where they were saying it will be the heat that kills us off - our bodies are simply not made for it. You would have to be blind to not believe that global warming is a real thing, the signs are all around us, it's too difficult to deny at this point, and it gets worse with each passing year.

Just my humble 2 cents.

 

I am crazy. I do not deny it but in this case we are going to bake the oysters. Wife knows how long. Basically until they open a bit.

We went to the orthopedic lady yesterday. They X-rayed the ankle and it looked good. Doesn’t need to wear the boot cast but should use an ankle brace. Doc encouraged her to finally put weight on the leg and walk a bit.
