$1/oz. Pretty normal in comparison to the BA stout market. I am in for a few 2-packs!

Pretty reasonable if you ask me. Just over a dollar an ounce. Luckily for you, there are some really cheap BA beers on the market these days

I gotta say, a bit surprised with this release. Lasted a while online and it’s totally low key in the taproom for my pickup today. I approve of these anti hype HA releases. Midnight Choir is fantastic btw. Creamy, roasty fudge and barrel.

Well, except I could purchase GoneAway from my local Binny's in 2017. :stuck_out_tongue: I kid. Glad they are continuing to make it. Just doesn't seem to enough demand for it to be distributed sadly (GoneAway fan here in the Illinois hinterlands, HA).

Yeah, every release I’ve been to in the past year or so they’ve had cans of a previous release available to go. I’m ok with that.

Buddy gave me a can of Slow Wink. Thought it was a pretty solid West Coast IPA. Not the biggest fan of WC IPAs but thought it was pretty subtle in the dryness and had some nice Hop Bite and tropical fruit characteristics.

Slightly random question from a long time lurker: has anyone been to Half Acre this week/lately and spotted any Benthic, Before Land Shook or Sickle Through Sable in the cooler? My proxy is picking up my Midnight Choir this weekend and I was wondering I should plan on tossing him some extra cash lol.

Sickle Through Sable was the BA they had to go for last week’s release. So assume that one’s still there.

Thanks for the head-up guys, my proxy snagged a Sickle Through Sable for me!

I got into one of both tonight while watching da bears and ufc and thought the Midnight Choir was better actually.

You said it, their keg deals are silly compared to other breweries. Any way, I made my first ever trip to the Balmoral location. Not bad! Going to the city still sucks, but that won't be changing any time soon. Parking seemed much better than Lincoln, the taproom was much bigger and the layout was cool. Loved going through the brewery to get to the bathroom. Plenty of seating at the bar. The food menu was shockingly small BUT the chicken sandwich was up there with the best I have ever had, it was that good.

I tried to get the mosaic double daisy keg but it was sold out so I got the very last Gone Away keg for $90. Hooked it up immediately at home and couldn't help but smile as I was sipping the first pint. Can't beat it...
