Revolution Brewing (2023)

Had an Eagle Park's Fuzz Lord last night (Barleywine aged in Bourbon and Peach Brandy Barrels) and thought it was interesting and enjoyable, but was lacking complexity to make it an amazing beer. Has Rev used Peach Brandy barrels before? I'd love to see their take on a Bourbon and Peach Brandy Barrel aged barleywine given the quality of their program and barleywine and aging skills. Think that would be a next level beer.

Yes, I like what your thinking here! Notes of cognac & peach brandy would probably work together and add lots of complexity to those big beers. I think it would work well in both SJ & Ryeway to do that double barrel treatment... @Duff27 Can you ask Marty to see if he can make it happen?

Plans are underway for West Coast to be made year-round. It won't be exactly what you're looking/asking for, but will be a solid compromise.

 

Yes. These are more successful in stores than in our Taproom, enough to keep making them, but not quite enough to expand into more recipes so it will be the status quo for now. Out of curiosity, why do you ask?

 

When was the 10 year anniversary of Deth Tar? Was/Is there a special 10 year beer for it?

 

I got my first one with the season ticket pickup, and I thought it rocked.

Split it 3 ways at a share and it seemed like the perfect amount.

I was hoping it wasn't going away right after I realized the format's pretty useful!

This makes me hope Bells 11 returns. Such an amazing beer. That said, Red Skull should be returning soon!
