    2020 Paisley Cave Complex from Bottle Logic. An imperial stout brewed with marshmallows, aged in bourbon barrels & finished with cacao nibs, blueberries and natural flavors. I have never really been a fan of fruit in an imperial stout, but this might be the one exception. It's there, but not dominant. Notes of vanilla, chocolate, caramel, and blueberry mingle nicely. This is pretty much as good as it was fresh, which is VERY good.

    Nice cool overnight here to enjoy this baby.

    Didn't like the first smell and sip were a bit cardboardy, but it's warming up with patience and hitting the right notes. Roast malt, bitterness, dark chocolate. hops still kicking ass. My kind of Russian Imperial Stout!

    Hope I come across these down the road (picked up a few six packs of these in Michigan in Winter 2021). Have a great stout day or weekend fellow stout lovers.

    Parabajava - this imperial coffee stout is up there with the best. Perfect integration of bourbon, chocolate, coffee, and roasted malts. Cheers!

    Ok, surely one doesn’t have to be sessioning a 14.9% beer to be curious about that clay mask. Seriously, I hope the story is as cool as the pot. I keep thinking the next picture will have a plant growing through its eyes.

    Just imagine what a high octane beer session would do to my brain. HA!

    @SLeffler27

    story behind it is this one of my lifelong friends started making clay stuff. on my last visit to oakland i spent a few days with him at his studio and i saw a few pieces around . I asked and he said hes been doing A month and i offered to buy it. He saidhe doesn't wanna sell any until he gets better and this was the first piece he'd ever completed in the right way.

    Fin .
