Just put some corned beef on in the Instant Pot for dinner, in Guinness of course. The Instant Pot makes the best corned beef, never fails. I also went down and got the RSV vaccination - no adverse reaction except that I had to take a nap early after noon because I felt tired. Next month I'll get my flu shot, and probably in October. the latest Covid booster - or whenever it becomes available. Right now, having a Four Star Farms Bine Cutter.

 

BBQ time, at a great local spot. Henderson & Kane General Store. One stop shop for BBQ, beer, wine, coffee, prepared foods, butchered steaks, and lots of other things. Can take anything to go, or have it made there ha.

Anyway, ribs, sausage, beans, potato salad...and Saint Arnold H-Town Pils.

 

Not it!!! @Blogjackets but I would certainly love to get my hands on some of those Central Waters brews again

A darn fine DIPA. Notes of Tropical fruit; Grapefruit. I liked this beer on tap at the brewery, and I’m glad to see my last cross country can held up well…Cheers y’all!

Actually, I left when I was 3 or 4. I had family in Philly, Chester and Deleware around the Indian River. My best friend went to Penn, so that's the only area I know

Palate fatigue can be good or bad, sounds like it works for you with certain styles! Totally wanted to visit von Trapp while we were staying in Bolton Valley a few weeks ago but did not make it unfortunately.
Moving onto round 3 of stout day, this one is a definite improvement over the first two.

Omg the dog park pizza app was slamming. The pizza skins with loaded mash potatoes is only available for brunch which were also amazing. We are going to wasserhund VA Beach sometime for sure. Or coming back when I go to the shipyard lol. Pizza is the best food.


Wasserhund who's coming with me oak aged kellerbier. Wow world class. Aromas and flavors of cracker, bread dough, biscuit, wood, peppercorn, pine, toasted oak, herbal, floral, grass; light vanilla, coconut, toffee, yeast earth. Lt med pine, herbal, woody, grassy bitter finish. Medium plus carb and light med body. Crisp clean refreshing finish. No astringency. Perfectly clean lager flavors with minimal fruity notes. Minimal warming 5%. One of the best Kellerbier I've had. Perfectly clean balanced lager with great integration of oak complexities that linger after the finish. 4.5
