Trooper, an IPL from German brewery Crew Republic (5%).

This Helles is almost crossing over into India Pale Lager territory with its quite hoppy, fruity, bitter and slightly resinous flavor profile, although there are hints of grassy and earthy accents to this as well, with a slight caramel malt backbone.

This dank, juicy NETIPA hazy collab from Other Half and Fidens is more than worthy of your consideration, IMHO. Absolutely love it.

In the mood for something different (i.e. not another IPA):

Badger State OKT-SKI (5.2%): An Oktoberfest Märzen from Wisconsin with flavors of ruby red fruit, caramel, toasted bread malt. Ripe and slightly sweet.

Decent Märzen here from Badger State. Continuing the naming trend with their other beers. This has nice red fruit and rich caramel sweetness. Shows the booze a bit and could use a bit more carbonation. Mildly sweet, but the ruby red flavor is there. Sort of reminds me of Sam Adams with the ruby red flavor, but could improve on the complexity and mouthfeel. The flavor is right there though.

Good evening BAs! Drinking a big ass can of beer on the balcony under my big ass fan - a 32oz crowler of CCB’s “Nightmare Confetti” a DDH DIPA with Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy & Citra:

Dank melon and grape must nose. Tropical fruit, white grape, berries; not sweet and no bitterness. A poundable 8.7% abv, HazyLite/unfiltered American IPA. I liked enough to grab a crowler to go yesterday at the brewery in Tampa!

I was in line early this morning to gas up my SUV. Saw a fist fight at the WAWA before 8am. Lines to get gas, fill containers was crazy. I thereafter spent the morning unearthing (from the bowels of our garage) then installing some of our hurricane shutters around the house…hot and humid work. We saved some for me to put up tomorrow morning…not my choice

I went to Publix noonish…madhouse…the ice was almost gone, people were filling their carts like it was the end of the world…

Being a sensible being, I next went to the pub and drank a couple of new to me beers from The Veil and from Hop Butcher For The World. Yum!

At the condo now doing some minor Hurricane prep…It may be a long couple of days coming up…Cheers BAs!

Back home with a Jai Alai, prepping a little for the storm but more for our trip. Orlando looks to be in the no impact zone, but then we thought that last year.

Pale, straw yellow body, clear; medium density carbonation; very thick head, white and semi-creamy; dense, sticky rings of foam encircle the glass interior. Heavenly scent of warm and soft cereal malt; biscuit; floral tones; delicate spiciness. Very muted yet sublime flavors; light bread crust; delicate sweetness; very mild esters suggesting pear; deft touch of hop bitterness with a whisper of grassy tones. Medium-light body; smooth and velvety; soft, feathery dryness caresses the palate.

Wow! A fine beer exuding understated yet impelling subtlety and refinement. Nuanced and complex. Very satisfying.

This little drop tastes better than it looks. That seems to happen now & again with good beers. And this is very good. Esp if you fancy lemon and gummy bears. That's what's goin on with this puppy. Tafts Hop Juice Juicy IPA...Woohoo!

Good Luck to you , current track is now north of Tampa to The Big Bend Area which is a low population area in FL , Hurricanes are fickle and can change on a dime (Ian) , hope all is well for you.

#2, this is from my local (Bare Hands Brewery) and is excellent, IMHO. Has all the big malts, but differentiates itself with a strong hop flavor, which actually works really well.
