So, at some point they will sell the box set with all 4 beers (box included), or if you want to line up during a crazy busy 4-day event, 2 days of which are work days, you can line-up and get the 4 beers sans box?

    Interesting.

Edit: I got the "unique" right in terms of language, at least.

Looks like the Continuance Blend #4 description is up on the brewery menu:

A blend of Single Barrel-Aged M.J.K., Double Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, Rye Barrel-Aged Barleywine, and Quad aged in Rum and Bourbon Barrels aged for 18 to 64 months
    14.0% ABV | 750mL

I'm not sure the box set will ever be for sale. I think that's for the raffle mentioned. just a guess.

Seems like a good guess. Only reason I was thinking otherwise was because of the garage releases/package sales (which would more or less mirror that method). I can see selling the beers individually as stated, but only as a bundle (with or without box) once online.

Curious to see what is to come.

Speaking of which, it is almost September. I think right after this event is about when we should see details about BBT ‘24?

BBT ‘23. They were doing blending in early August.

Oops. With how the last 3 months have been, let alone the last 8, it feels like it could already be ‘25.

For anyone who went to the first LC party, how did the bottle share work? Trying to figure out what to bring on Friday and wondering how big of a part of the festivities it ended up being. Just curious.

    Cheers!

A bunch of tables outside. Open it up and go for it.

The entire party is basically a bottle share.

No real monitoring on bottles or oz you brought. I made the mistake of not getting there early enough. The bottles are first come first serve and the big bottles didn’t last long. Also, the line to buy bottles moved pretty slow…

So, you “turn in” the bottle you bring to be set out to share? Or, you arrive and crack open your bottle to share with everyone?

It’s no different than any line share

I didn’t see anyone hand over a bottle. You can open the bottle to share at your table or there is a few large tables setup for community share.

LC party was an awesome time tonight. Kudos to the SP crew for putting on one heck of an event.

The onsite bottles were worth the (free) price of admission. DBMITW, BVC, Derivation b2, Derivation TWCP, Parallels, and so, so many more. Couldn't keep up with the bottles and shares going on.

Alma Mader 4th Anniversary, King Jjjjulius, Monster Tones, Unblended 121, Moska bottles, Phase Three bottles, TG bottles...an absolute embarrassment of riches.

If you're attending the next party, please offer a pour of your on-site bottle or share to the staff. They will greatly appreciate it.
