Wake me when they release an adjunct-free barrel aged stout. There's got to be one this year, right?

 

Midnight Choir just released, no adjuncts unless you consider a nitro can nitrogen infusion an adjunct?

I honestly didn't think that the nitro can did much for the already fantastic BA stout that HA put into a nitro can.

 

I didn't realize that was adjunct free! I guess I need to wake myself up.

Yeah, midnight Choir is delicious barrel juice without any candy added!

 

I don't know if the app itself is confusing or if I'm just dumb but I constantly confuse the time when pickup starts for the time the beer is going up for order lol. I thought this was just releasing now

 

That’s why I was posting that week that I was surprised about the turnout. I guess most other people just want the adjuncts. Was happy to drink it all afternoon low key!

 

Due to Half Acre's website listing it I am on-site now to try Midnight Choir...but it's not on draft anymore. Yeah, I'm kinda salty.

It got me again too. Same as midnight choir. In Fairness to myself, I am out of town for work, and I shouldn’t have had time anyway due to work, so maybe I wasn’t meant to get it. But still really bummed and disappointed.

 

Tomorrow, 10/11…Oznr. Missed last year so I’ll probably give it a shot tomorrow.

What are everyone's thoughts on Before Land Shook? Where does it fall vs the rest of the lineup like Catch Hell, Benthic and barleywines?
I missed out trying it at FOBAB last year, hopefully they'll bring it again.
