It's a shame that this is the same day at Solace Outpost's Lagerfest. I would have actually looked into going to this.

I'm going to be in DC tomorrow for one night, going to be in the northwest and not looking to travel much once I get there. What are spots I should look for for food and drinks? Also, any stores with especially good selections?

For drafts, Churchkey would be recommendations number 1, 2, and 3. If you're really into Belgian beers, The Sovereign will scratch that itch like no other.

For bottles, my favorite shop in DC is Craft Beer Cellar. It's outside of NW, but just by a few blocks.

Their food is really good too so you get it all if you go there. Like coquet said it's really the best option. Sovereign is also really good but a little more out of the way depending on where you're staying.

I visited Liquidity Brewing in Mt Airy, MD this past weekend for the first time. Descent beers, IPAs were a step up in quality from the norm. Cool venue, it’s an old bank converted, worth checking out if your around the area. Still have a huge bank vault in there which is pretty cool.

Can someone please tell them that "to include" is not proper grammer?

Not only do we craft amazing beers, but we also feature a unique hand-crafted culinary menu to include our popular wood-fired pizzas made with high-quality, seasonal ingredients that are inventive, and delicious! We can't wait to bring our beach vibes to Fairfax and serve Northern Virginia the freshest!

I’m enjoying a 3 Floyds Broo Doo right now. Are there any other wet hop beers available anymore in the DMV? Founders Harvest, Troegs Hop Knife, Great Divide Fresh Hop, Lagunitas Born Yesterday… all gone for us, sadly.

Heyyo, so I haven't been back to DC since I moved in 2021. Coming back for Snally in a couple of weeks, just wanted to see what's new? What are people digging? Breweries, bars, restaurants. Doesn't have to be beer centric. Will probably mostly stick with DC stuff since I am going to be staying in DC.

I might not be the best source of info as I have been drinking less craft beer and I feel like its popularity is waning. At least it feels that way to me.

Other Half is much, much better than it was in 2021. Every beer I've had from them in the past year has been excellent.

Solace has a spot in Navy Yard near Nats Park now. And Crooked Run has a spot in Union Market. Aslin is on 14th St but their beer is abysmal now.

Churchkey and Shelter (near Potomac Ave metro) are still my favorite spots for beer. Both have excellent food options.

It feels like the changes to DC since 2021 have been more about subtraction than addition. I can't think of anywhere new that's worth mentioning, but I can think of at least a few restaurants culled before their time. Churchkey still reigns supreme on the beer scene.

I'm happy to agree with @hoppytobehere about the improvement in Other Half DC. They definitely figured their stuff out. Some of the Brooklynites still look down on it, but, for the most part, the trash-talking has died down in the Other Half thread.

As far as Snally, if you want to try the best new local to emerge since 2021, make sure to stop by the Juicy Brewing tent. They're in the original Aslin space out in Herndon and using the same equipment that Aslin left. To my tastes, there's a little bit of local homerism reflected in their Untappd ratings, but they're still a great new addition to the area.

I didn't see Juicy on the Snally brewery lost for 2023.

Are Solace or Crooked Run really any better than the "abysmal" Aslin?

My mistake, it appears. I guess I just assumed they would be there because they're local and they attended last year. They hosted their first festival today, so maybe they decided they couldn't handle both given their size.
