What is appropriate serving procedure for hop water? Straight from the can? Pour into glass? What kind? Can I pour it over ice? Lemon wedge?

We can’t tell retailers what to charge, but that’s hopefully misentered cause that’s what Hero IPA 6-packs usually are… if you want to message me the account we can check in and see.

Is this stuff going out to the usual grocery store chains that stock Rev?

Alright, just peeled a Deths Tar label from last year's stove pipe after finishing it. Who knew the base for 2022 Deths Tar was Fist City?

It’s amazing what they can make with a bourbon barrel, time, and a plastic label sleeve.

My Cook County property tax has tripled, property barely appreciated over the past 20 years. Must be nice.

Meanwhile, a few blocks east Brands Park's fieldhouse has been "temporarily closed to the public" since March.

In my experience, dumping it onto the driveway works well. (Is it the sabro? Or am I just not into these things?)

Good time to stock up. Per their social media, Eugene will "shift from part of our Hometown Seasonals lineup to a future as a limited release beer." Not sure the net effect but likely a shorter release window and closer distribution range possibly. Would be cool to see them do the multiple coffee variants again but that might have been a logistical PITA.

I would say they won’t release this packaged annually with this statement.

I typically pass on this Porter and buy Coffee Eugene, which I don’t see at all on the current calendar.

    https://revbrew.com/beer/calendar

That would be another tough loss after losing my annual favorite A Little Crazy, which doesn’t really have an a solid alternative treatment in the Chicago area.

I believe they will start packaging Cold Time Lager, and that’s one new offering I’m happy to bring home. Repo Man is solid as well, but that has been available out of the taproom previously (will now have a wider distribution). Also hope the Czech Dark Lager can stick beyond this year, assuming it’s solid (will pick some up, think it’s due out soon).

My bad. I had a brain freeze and was thinking Coffee Eugene when mentioning the coffee variants. Looking forward to Cold Time being packaged. Have yet to try it but seems to get favorable reviews.

A spiffy label ready for packaging. Like the 12 oz cans!

That’s a slick label and I’d be all over that if lagers were my jam.

Apparently you havent looked at the IL debt. You should be missing every resident who leaves IL as that means you’re going to be on the hook for paying more of it off.

I'll take any political / financial sentiment out of this.

As someone who's actually had a beer with @ChicagoJ I would miss him if he left.
