Looks like the hazy Chicago version in 2016. Very nice brew for the buck and the only lagunitas I will purchase. Still not like the OG 2014 2015 but it’s a great brew. [IMG]

I'm excited to see they brought this back! I found out about it last night when I was browsing their website. Can't wait to try it, and I hope it's still as great. But otherwise, I agree with what @Resistance88 said. What happened to this brewery? They hurt my feelings almost as badly as Stone did.

All of their core up lineup beers are IPAs. They discontinued all of their classic malty beers, lagers and sours. No more Brown Shugga? Undercover Investigation Shutdown Ale? Aunt Sally? Old GnarleyWine? Cappuccino Stout? Damn, man. You're killing me, Lagunitas!

Will it be brewed in Chicago additionally? Or just Petaluma? Likely the latter given the recent track record unfortunately. Miss the days one could find this at a local store a day after packaging.

Definitely not distributed the same day like it used to be. Maybe small batch this year. Literally no one in San Jose had this but a random small liquor store in Scott’s valley did. I think it’s was bottled Thursday according to lagunitaspetaluma instagram. I got two sixes for my self and crushed 3 bottles in an about 90 minutes , it’s really juicy and crushable.

Does it taste the same as past years batches (e.g., 2015)?

    Cheers!

Somewhat cynical here but can any of us actually compare a beer to an 8 year old memory of a beer if we're being honest?

it’s jucier than any batch I’ve had , I never had the hazy batch from
Chicago in 2016 as I’m in Cali but I’d assume it’s about the same. Very juicy and hoppy . I did love the clearer west coast versions in mid 2015s. Those were awesome as well.

Total Wine in Rancho Cucamonga CA has it. Picked some up a couple of days ago, going to finish up the sixer tonight with the help of a friend. So far it's a nice beer, but going from memory of the first couple of years of this release it's just not the same.

That's not a complaint. I'm enjoying this one enough, but it doesn't give me the "Wow!" factor that the first couple of incarnations did. The aroma, the taste, it's fine but not exceptional like it used to be. Still, a decent bargain of $12.49 for the six pack.

Found it in the East Bay. Looks like Oct 2 (275?) Kinda how I remember it, more opaque than cloudy. Perhaps not super wow in the flavor dept, but at $2 a bottle it does veer back into the wow territory. Actually a very flavorable beer assuming you're into hops.

One of the beers that I track, 2 days ago the closest Total Wine that had it was in California, see that today it shows being in Tucson, Arizona, so it is getting closer to Texas
