Thank you. Would also miss you and everyone I've come to know and enjoy time with over the years. Fourth generation Chicagoan, never lived anywhere else, don't plan on moving despite the pleasant invitation to relocate.

I merely believe it is rational and fair to allow individuals, families, businesses and NFPs to prosper and pay a fair and equitable tax rate to fund services benefiting our entire community.

Correct, just one. They announced one of the draft variants:

    Sanctuary #27 - D.B.V.S.O. Thundertaker Express - Single Barrel - 18.6% (contains lactose)

This lean, brawny, Thundertaker-heavy blend of Rye and Milk Stouts was aged in Limestone Branch and Heaven Hill barrels before receiving a “smooch” of freshly roasted Dark Matter coffee. Cocoa, toffee, and vanilla spring from the glass before each booze-and-oak-punctuated sip.

    Draft-exclusive Variants
In addition to the release beers, we’ll be pouring some one-of-a-kind takes on our Deep Wood program. Join us for:
    • D.B.V.S.O. Thundertaker Express, Single Barrel - 18.6% ABV
This lean, brawny, Thundertaker-heavy blend of Rye & Milk Stouts was aged in Limestone Branch and Heaven Hill barrels before receiving a “smooch” of freshly roasted Dark Matter coffee. Cocoa, toffee, and vanilla spring from the glass before each booze-and-oak-punctuated sip. **CONTAINS LACTOSE**

    • PX Deth’s Tar - 16.2% ABV
After two years in a single WhistlePig Boss Hog VIII Lapulapu’s Pacific French oak rum finishing cask this off-dry component Ryeway to Heaven boasts notes of vanilla, maple, candied pecan, caramel, and treats the palate to a long, dry, oaky, boozy finish.

    • Double Café Deth - 14.8% ABV
With over five pounds of freshly roasted Dark Matter champagne yeast and Nelson Sauvin hopped coffee per barrel, this coffee-lovers variation of Café Deth is a celebration of our partnership with the raddest roasters in town.

    • Peach Brandy V.S.O.R. - 13.0% ABV
We've been itching to release this beer from the moment we first laid nostrils on this pair of peach brandy barrels, one a steely American oak ex-bourbon, and the other a luscious, soft, French oak ex-wine cask. Two agonizing years later this off-sweet component of Ryeway to Heaven layers stone fruit and maple betwixt a latticework of rye-imbued spice and firm, silken texture.

PX Deth's Tar seems confusing as the description mentions Ryeway. Maybe my reading comprehension just sucks.

Yes, looks like a copy/paste from V.S.O. Boss Ryeway was not entirely updated for PX Deth's Tar possibly.

@gatornation - Not sure if you have access to Tavor, but Revolution has been selling select releases on that platform. Perhaps Halftime as well.

I track this for BCBS which I stopped buying a few years ago, so may as well begin tracking Deep Woods Releases which liver permitting will always buy.

I didn't realize Ryeway to Heaven, my favorite DW, started off as a taproom only release.:sunglasses:

    1) Saw you waxing poetic on wet hop beers, and that Rev's didn't sell well. I assume there's no hope of it returning any time soon?

    2) Favorite on-tap variant for this Fri/Sat?

Here is the updated PX Deth's Tar description for those interested:

    PX DETH'S TAR - 15.1% ABV
This slightly sweeter component Deth's Tar spent one year in a Jim Beam Distiller's Masterpiece Portuguese PX sherry finishing cask. Omnipresent bourbon-derived American oak shares the spotlight with softer notes of PX sherry and French oak, while the base brings those familiar notes of dried stone fruit and vanilla.
